Charles Koch to support Hillary Clinton for President?
If there is one issue the left has been most hypocritical on over the years it is their claim that they are opposed to big money being spent to win elections. The left loves to talk about how Republican special interest groups steal elections from the people while ignoring their own special interest groups, such as unions and Planned Parenthood, which pour money into the elections.
But what draws the ire of the left even more than special interest groups are billionaires such as David and Charles Koch because they donate immense sums of money into the political coffers of Republicans. Of course while they are calling the Koch brothers evil and Satan and any other vile name they can come up with they ignore the political contributions of billionaires like, oh I don’t know, perhaps someone like George Soros. The reason for this is obvious; they are not opposed to big money being spent in politics but rather big money in politics being spent against them. That is why some billionaires get a free pass and others are the devil reincarnate.
Theleft will make the fallacy argument that they have to accept these donations because the Republican do, but that is nothing more than a chicken/egg argument, if they were serious they would attempt to lead the way by example.
And this is why I find this story to be fascinating.
It’s a nightmare scenario for Republicans, but conservative billionaire Charles Koch says “it’s possible” Hillary Clinton could make a better president than the remaining candidates in the GOP primary.
In his interview, Koch said that is a result of his disgust with the rhetoric in the Republican primary, and he even suggested Clinton could be a better choice for the country than the remaining crop of GOP candidates.
“It’s possible,” Koch said, but didn’t say whether he could see himself supporting Clinton in the 2016 cycle.
“We would have to believe her actions would be quite different than her rhetoric. Let me put it that way,” he said.
In my opinion the likelihood of Charles Koch donating money to Hillary Clinton in the campaign is highly questionable but you never know, after all he has also compared Donald Trump to Nazi Germany and that is rhetoric which has been uttered from the mouths of the left for several months now. He is beginning to sound like a full-fledged Democrat so who knows…
I think it is more likely that Charles Koch is sending a shape up or ship out message to the Republican party and if he does anything it will be to do nothing. In other words he will not donate money to either party in the election but rather he will sit it out on the donation side of the election.
To be honest I hope that Charles Koch does decide to donate money to Hillary Clinton’s campaign because it will be interesting to see how the Democratic voters respond, but more interesting to me will be to see how Hillary Clinton herself responds. Will Hillary Clinton accept the donations and if she does will the Democratic voters demand she return the donations?
To accept money from one of the Koch brothers after years of deriding the billionaires will expose the left as hypocrites. Of course by accepting money from George Soros while attacking the Koch brothers they should have already been exposed as hypocrites but nobody has ever called them out on it.
But that could come to an end if Charles Koch does indeed contribute to Hillary Clinton’s campaign because if, and this is a big if, it expands beyond the Koch brothers and the media does its job for once than somebody (maybe a supporter of Bernie Sanders) will have to ask the next logical question and that is, if accepting money from one billionaire is wrong how can accepting money from another billionaire be right?

The billionaires, both left and right, are lining up on the side they feel will do the least boat rocking and while Trump may be worth a measely few billions the Clinton’s with their blob- like machine sucking up money and power and are one of them and will best serve their interests in the coming class/culture wars.

An evil system … that twists things out of portion for its own gain. It evolves daily more and more back into the septic tank!

Sadly they are going to take us into that septic tank.

Bottom line is that our opinions and votes mean nothing in the whole scope of things. They want us to think we have a say, but do we really? I just do not think we do. “AN EVIL SYSTEM”, is right Zip. However, we have put these people there…we should be able to remove them. Now, after saying that, can we do it? I think it is like Obamacare, once in place you have a hell of a time, if ever, removing that evil. It reaches out so far and into so many places, that I doubt you can ever rid yourself of it.

We don’t really have a say and we have known it for awhile, we only elect from the selected. The one thing this election cycle has shown both sides of the aisle is that what we have been saying is true. Perhaps this will begin to wake people up but somehow I doubt it…

Complete BS that nobody has ever called out the Clinton campaign on all of her big money donations! The Sanders campaign and sanders supporters call her out on it daily… By the way there are more candidates for president than Trump and Clinton!

Sanders only does it halfheartedly but you are right to a point. If he was more than just controlled opposition he would go all the way.

The question to Hillary about her speeches to GS is not what she said, but what is the pay to play agreement between her and GS. What is GS expecting when she is elected president? GS has over $40 Trillion in derivatives exposure against $1 Trillion in assets. Does GS want the U.S. taxpayer to bail them out!

I don’t know why Peter but your comment reminded me of the scene from Bachelor Party where the guy was trying to kill himself with an electric razor and Tom Hanks said “at least your wrists will be smooth and kissable.” 🙂

That is true CJ, but also I think the left would be interested in what she said as well because she was not paid to say anything negative about GS and if what she said was released it could hurt her whole anti-Wall Street campaign.

Still no laptop, so will be short on this posting. I found this about Clinton and the obstruction that the White House did. Not that it will make a difference to MOST people, but this is a COVER UP, big time! How can this not be picked up by ALL the media? Oh, they are in the back pocket of Obama…but at least READ this:
