Debbie Wasserman Schultz is feeling the Bern
The civil war brewing in the Democratic Party has now ensnared Debbie Wasserman Schultz after the Democratic National Committee chairwoman told Bernie Sanders to tell his supporters to “get in line.” (In Hillary Clinton’s terms this means he needs to “bring them to heal.”)
Debbie Wasserman Schultz is now feeling the Bern and not in a good way, here is more:
Bernie Sanders supporters aren’t fond of Hillary Clinton.
But they really don’t like Debbie Wasserman Schultz, the Democratic National Committee chairwoman and Florida lawmaker.
Sanders supporters blame Wasserman Schultz for what they see as system rigged against their candidate and say he is being cheated by contests closed to independents and unfair weight to superdelegates.
“I think I’m honestly starting to hate @DWStweets more than @realDonaldTrump,” one Sanders supporter tweeted on Thursday, with the hashtag #FeelTheBern.
Other hashtags being used by Sanders supporters on Thursday included #DebbieDowner, #DownwithDebbie and #DumpDebbie.
The online anger erupted this week after Wasserman Schultz called on Sanders to get his supporters in line after a rowdy Nevada Democratic convention where Sen. Barbara Boxer (D-Calif.) endured a hearty booing. Wasserman Schultz also criticized death threats and obscene messages left on the voicemail of the chairwoman of the Nevada state party.
Bernie Sanders has vowed to take this fight all the way to the Democratic convention where he hopes to wrest the nomination away from the former Secretary of State at a contested convention. This is a long shot bid at best in my opinion but it still has the Democratic establishment worried because it will give the party less time to coalesce around Hillary Clinton after the party is done screwing over Bernie Sanders and his supporters.
If the rift is as big as I think it might be it will be hard for Bernie Sanders’s supporters to forgive and forget because they feel as if the nomination of Hillary Clinton was preordained by the party elites before the primary season began–and they are right.
Meanwhile the Democratic establishment is turning to Chuck Schumer to make peace in the party but I do not think Bernie Sanders’s supporters are interested in peace and the ironic part of this whole situation is the fact that the Democratic party has been fostering this type of violent rhetoric and loud protests but they never envisioned when they prompted people to get in the face of your opponents it would be used against them. No, the DNC is not used to their own “people” turning on them. They have been pretty crappy to Sanders, we all know that. I would never vote for the man, for my own reasons, but he deserves to have a civil run at it….we know this will never happen up against a Clinton. I can see if he doesn’t get the nomination and it is a slim chance, that his following will turn on Clinton and either not vote OR do a “spite” vote and vote for Trump….could happen. Oh ya, Debbie is a piece of crap, too!

It is entertaining isn’t it?! I am going to enjoy it while it lasts! I think there many be many Sanders voters who if they do not stay home might vote for Trump instead. The anti-establishment fever has hit the Democrats as well even if the MSM does not want to admit it.

Don’t all serial killers have to have the middle name of “Wayne”, or so it seems…oh well. Primaried would be a good thing, Bunker, a real good thing. I think she feels that it is in the tank for Clinton and she wants to go along for the ride. Being ugly (and boy is she) on behalf of Clinton will not get her any more brownie points, Clinton uses people and discards them…maybe she is not as smart as she thinks she is.
