Firewall with Bill Whittle: ‘Bernie’s Free College Isn’t Free’
June 6, 2016
Bill Whittle’s latest Firewall video is out and it is entitled “Bernie’s Free College Isn’t Free.” Needless to say this is brilliant and I think you all will enjoy it. It is so simple that the left cannot, or does not want to, understand it.
Enjoy:

Here is the lefts response to BS’s proposal. No where do they talk about the current problem of university graduates not being able to find jobs.

In essence through not so sleight of hand (financial blackmail, reverse discrimination etc etc) the US govt has already taken over education from pre-school to the universities. And once higher education becomes free it will cost more than ever, even more than what todays loan subsidized education costs the unsuspecting student borrowers. Case in point: my sons bachelor and graduate programs are paid in full as well as will be his second masters program which he begins this summer. Now then, someone close to me who literally earned and continues to earn twice what I earned has a child whose $65,000 in subsidized loans for a four year bachelor degree has grown to &110,000 with interest. The system encourages borrowers to capitalize interest and enjoy the freedom of deferring their obligations. This student loan mess is a creation of the government takeover, in essence, of a private enterprise. Keep in mind that in 1958 a Harvard tuition bill was $1200. Of course this was somewhat beyond the average middle class wage earner while today a subsidized $20,000 two semester tuition bill is the norm for those middle class wage earners who cannot afford it. Bring it in Bernie, this country is waiting to get what its ignorance deserves.

Free education will not flatten this expense curve. Who knew you need a MS in order to be a bartender or a barista?
