Sunday, June 19th open thread: ‘Let’s Go To Bed’
Happy Father’s Day to all the Dads out there!
Here is the open thread for Sunday, June 19th. Please feel free to post links to interesting articles and to discuss whatever issues arise during the course of the day. Nothing is off-topic here.
Last week we only discussed 5 stories because I refused to get sucked into the Orlando politicization, and that was pretty much all that was in the news, but did you miss any of them? If so there is an easy way to make sure it does not happen again. I understand that all of you are busy and cannot always find the time to check the blog for updates so why not subscribe to America’s Watchtower and receive email updates whenever I write a new post? That is the easiest way to follow the blog to ensure you never miss another post.
In addition to subscribing you can also follow America’s Watchtower on Facebook and Twitter by clicking the links on the right. But you will get more than that for I often post links to articles I probably will not be writing about so it is a great way to keep up with what is happening.
The Twitter widget in the sidebar is fully interactive. This widget updates my tweets in real time and allows you to respond to or retweet my tweets right from the blog. It also allows you to tweet me right from America’s Watchtower. How cool is that! If you do not have a Twitter account what better reason do you need to sign up for one!
As America’s Watchtower warriors know, The Cure is my favorite band of all time, and last Thursday they played in Boston. This was their first tour of the United States in 8 years and I had to pay a heavy price to see them because most of the tickets seemed to have been bought up by scalpers but it was well worth it.
The Cure is known for their heavy, dark, brooding music and lyrics but they have a diverse catalog of music and I have decided to share one of their more upbeat songs because the set they played was surprisingly upbeat after the first hour of a 2 1/2 hour show.
Here is The Cure performing “Let’s Go To Bed” from last Thursday night in Boston and if you look real close you might actually see Robert Smith try to dance.

Good videos, SDL! I have been missing on here, alot going on, hopefully will settle down for me in the near future. Life goes on and sometimes there is not enough time to do everything, even for ME! Hope you are well!

I understand exactly what you mean, and the “one thing at the time” is a killer that will serve one hand while neglect the other one. I don’t get recipe but I write a lot….a lot of Post It… Glad to See You Lou !

That’s for the info Swiss. If it’s like here in the Corporate States, votes are like water off a duck’s back of the delegates. Not ‘apathetic’ rather just taking them for who they are that run the system! What do you think is best . Aren’t some of the major Globalist players Brits? That sound like a plan, but as so many are unhappy…It can bring them to that person or go away as long there is a way to get out of The European Union.. UK is the KEY of The Open Door, otherwise It could mean for Denmark, Nederland difficulties to follow…

“TERROR ATTACK TO STOP BREXIT” I see in the news – forcing the issue I guess. After view some of the ‘Gotthard base tunnel’ celebration, it openingly shows the occult influence behind it – sickos Swiss, perverted and blind. I’ll watch the vid later. Just found it interesting about the ‘threats’ jiving the people up for more ruin.

CJ, I believe the “assault” weapon (weren’t they banned in the 30’s) that was used was actually a Sig Sauer MCX and not that vicious AR-15….you know the AR stands for “assault rifle”, right? Wrong, it stands for ArmaLite, the company that developed it in the 50’s…this is how wrong the media and the left are….BUT, there are those that hang on every word they say. It is sad to be that “stupid” and I imagine people here know what I think of stupid people….these people need to research and make sure something is really true before they start spouting off! Then again, we are talking about people that do not really WANT the truth.

The left’s incremental attacks on our life, liberty and pursuit of happiness may very well win out with the support and consent of the stupid american populace. DDT , AR-15’s, cigarettes, 32 ounce sugary drinks, salt, what’s the difference in the end they will have it all. Why build gulags when we will be under house arrest in our own homes should the left win in the end. Why build FEMA camps when the schools, from Pre-K to university are doing a splendid job of brainwashing and alienating our youth.

The Scott Brothers are from the tv show, The Property Brothers and I think they have a new show, as well. Don’t they live in Canada and grew up on a farm? I liked the song….and no, you cannot go wrong with Harry Chapin…always liked him, in my “youth”, haha. Hey Zip!!!!!

Both songs in honor of Father’s Day. BUT I was thinking of Chapin’s song lyrics recently and how parents (people in general) or too busy for loved ones. The old saying being true that most are nicer to strangers than their own kin justifying themselves, ‘you don’t know my kin!’ That may be true but in this mess that the so-called elites have contrived, it’s way more difficult for parents to raise their children, find work that pays, etc. The wheel turning faster and people busy even when accomplishing little.
At least you ‘teach’ your grandkids from a moral and ethical foundation. The Ed system today teaches from faulty Premises and are stealing away children from parents, who are ensnared in the idol worshipping of the day (themselves and the perverted hip.
Nothing new under the sun … one day it’ll come full circle and Reality be made clear – instead of being blinded by the veil of deceit (and God veils it too, I’m sure,, to some extent, by His Grace, lest we get too discouraged but the time of refreshing comes!). Meanwhile we have the fake imitations and imitators, light shows (bluebeam coming), hypnotic beats, transhumanism, mindless chanters and rioters, and the disguiser who helped pollute mankind from the start (the alien entity from the spiritual realm, with powers to deceive even the most discerning). OH well … see isn’t it nice to be back Lou and help motivate this posting! 😊

Yep, Zip, it is nice to be back! I know that some states are less “involved” with how kids are taught and others follow strict guidelines from the Administration. There is alot to be said for home schooling or the government would not try to put a stop to it. With all the taking out facts from history books what has really happened and putting in false claims, we have to be very watchful of what gets put in our kids and grandkids heads. Illinois is bad for being secretive what is going on in the schools. It used to be that parents were welcome to come to the class rooms anytime, now they have to give notice and that is IF there is a teacher that will allow it. When did schools take over?

My Mom and Dad are big Chapin fans and they had seen him a few times and had tickets to see him on the tour he was on when he died, but he died before he made it to Boston. I still remember listening to him as a boy when my parents were playing it, especially that live album he did.

Hello Steve, I found a Video I will put it after. North of Ireland Britain, will have to bring back a Boder and Vice Versa as a non European Union Country. I think its right. Ireland is in the EU and if that is problem…well leave EU. Eu is a bad idea it’s like Napoleon and Hitler together. Well you might say it is an european matter, and at this stage you’re right.
