Hawaii passes a law which puts law-abiding gun owners in an FBI database

June 26, 2016

According to this story Hawaii Governor David Ige has signed into law a bill which will put all law-abiding gun owners in the island State into an FBI database. In other words these people are now going to be on what, in my opinion, amounts to a government watch list even though they have done nothing wrong.

  Here is more:

The database – called “Rap Back” – is run by the FBI and will alert Hawaiian law enforcement if a Hawaiian gun owner is arrested for a crime anywhere in the United States. Fox 59 quoted Ige saying, “This will allow county police departments in Hawaii to evaluate whether the firearm owner may continue to legally possess and own firearms.”

Honolulu Police Department Maj. Richard Robinson supported passage of the new law, arguing that background checks at the point of sale are not sufficient. He believes using the federal database is a way of allowing law enforcement to keep check on gun owners long after the sale has taken place.

Robinson said placing Hawaii’s gun owners into the database “in essence provide(s) an ongoing background check on firearm owners to determine their eligibility to own and possess a firearm.”

Note how the article states the FBI will notify the State if a person is arrested for and not convicted of a crime and with this information the State will determine if that person should still be allowed to own a firearm. So much for due process…

This is why that while it seems like a good idea to prevent people who are on a terrorist watch-list or a no-fly list from purchasing firearms so many people are opposed to it. They do not trust the government to determine who should be on a watch-list, and they are also concerned about due process, and now in the State of Hawaii law-abiding citizens are on a watch-list, which for all intents and purposes justifies their concerns.

Exactly Bunkerville, other states will follow and there will be what amounts to a national database.

Doesn’t it seem strange that Hawaii is even part of the United States when it’s its own Island(s). The people need to do what the Brits did and kick out the ‘Globalist establishment over-rulers’ and have their own deal!
Some high up there muckety mucks got their offshore accounts filled for selling the people down the river (again). There needs to be some ‘sugar caning’ going on! don’t even bother with the guns!

I wouldn’t have a problem if Hawaii said see you later to the US. I think there is a movement out there for Hawaii independence but I don’t know how big it is.

I see TX is back at it again too, to secede. If there were ‘honest leaders’ in this world there wouldn’t be these probables (or issues). BUT like the old Nimrod mentality the push to be ‘god’ is too appealing and tantalizing for mankind’s nature.
Now HI would have to kick out both the more Feds, and State corrupt leadership and minions.

You hit on what is driving this, the push to be god. Many of these people believe man through knowledge will become like god. It is the promise of Satan in the garden of Eden which led to the fall and whether or not they want to admit it these people have fallen into the trap set by Satan.

Just one baby step at a time, get us used to that and move to the next step. It is of MY opinion that the American people, for the most part, have a very short attention span….what is big news today, given a week, at best, is old news and something else takes its’ place.

It is an agenda of gradualism, isn’t it? They will take a little at a time so it is not noticed until it is too late.

To keep and bear arms is a “fundamental personal right is the natural ability of individuals to make meaningful choices without a government permission slip. ” Judge Napolitano

The FBI’s terror watch list and no fly list have proven to be bureaucratic failures. Now they are to be trusted with another list.

People need to understand that once you need a permission slip it is no longer a right but a privilege and privileges can be taken away.

Speaking to a a reporter from the DailyCaller Rep Charlie Rangel (D NY) said “Law-abiding citizens just shouldn’t have to carry a gun. You’re not gonna push me in that direction,” he said, standing just five feet from a Capitol Police officer,

The DC noted to Rangel he and other members of Congress are protected by armed members of the U.S. Capitol Police.

““Well that’s a little different. I think we deserve–I think we need to be protected down here.” Rangel laughingly insisted.

So says a blowhard elite politician.

That is the mentality of the ruling class! They want different rules for themselves than for the people.

Come on Lou, be nice to the mentality ill!
Psychopaths and Sociopaths are the fad these days. The polluted and corrupt Zionist who run the media and education teach it – selfishness seems to be easier to control and manipulate! easier to lure into depravity. Those who honestly care for others are harder to believe the fakery/giving baloney a bad name. Even in Kindergarten they ask the kids to look at a drawing of a boy and girl and ask them, “Which one do your feel more like?”
American Thinker digs into it a bit: http://www.americanthinker.com/articles/2016/06/the_roots_of_transgender_rage.html refer to: Washington Schools to Teach Gender Identity Curriculum in Kindergarten
Attacks coming from many sides, guns are just one of them.
