Democrats to include prosecuting ‘climate deniers’ in their Party platform?
The Democratic Platform Committee has completed its final draft of the Party’s platform and it will next be headed to a vote at at the Democratic National Convention. For what might be the first time in history a political party could be on the verge of calling for the prosecution of political opponents as they have approved a plank which would call for the Department of Injustice to investigate climate deniers, here is more:
Another joint proposal calling on the Department of Justice to investigate alleged corporate fraud on the part of fossil fuel companies who have reportedly misled shareholders and the public on the scientific reality of climate change was also adopted by unanimous consent.
I have no problem with corporations being investigated for fraud if there is evidence they have been doing something wrong, however did you notice how they are framing the argument? They are claiming these corporations are misleading the shareholders and the public because they are denying the “reality of climate change.” But how has the Democratic Party come to the conclusion that man-made global warming is real?
They cite as proof the alleged fact that 97% (a number that Barack Obama magically boosted to 99.5%) of scientists surveyed have determined global warming is a problem and that it is man-made, but where did that number come from?
Here is the truth about where that number came from, this is from a previous post I did on this issue:
The origin of the “97 percent” statistic has been traced back to a 2009 study by University of Illinois/Chicago graduate student Kendall Zimmerman, who sent a survey to 10,257 earth scientists asking them two questions:
“When compared with pre-1800s levels, do you think that mean global temperatures have generally risen, fallen, or remained relatively constant?” and
“Do you think human activity is a significant contributing factor in changing mean global temperatures?”
Eighty-two percent of the 3,146 scientists who completed the survey (a 30.7% response rate) answered “yes” to question 2.
So only 30.7% of the scientists who were surveyed bothered to answer the survey and of that 30.7% only 82% answered yes to the question of global warming being man-made, so where does the 97% number come from?
That figure included 75 of the 79 individuals (97.4%) who self-identified themselves as climate scientists.
The survey was sent to over 10,000 scientists and out of that group 79 of those who bothered to answer the survey identified themselves as climate scientists, and out of that number 75 of them said global warming was man-made. So it turns out for all the hoopla this whole notion that 97% of scientists believe global warming is man-made we are taking the word of 75 scientists out of a total of over 10,000 scientists.

What it all amounts to is this: the Democrats are the ones who are guilty of misleading the public on the so-called reality of global warming and in my opinion if this plank in the platform is approved it is the Democrats whom the Injustice Department should begin investigating. Oh, and while the Injustice Department is at it they should also take a look at the fraud NASA on NOAA have been perpetrating on the American people.

The MA AG is already doing this to Exxon. The AG wants 40 years (!) of records so they can determine if Exxon is a climate denier. However if according to the Citizen United ruling – corporations are individuals then the 4th amendment should apply. The AG needs a search warrant which is based on a crime having been committed not a supposition that a crime may have been commited..
This is also a violation of the 1st Amendment, but the Democrats don’t believe in the Bill of Rights.

Any “scientist” who wants to receive Federal funding will go along with the agenda. Those scientist who will nor kneel at the altar of climate change will lose their jobs will have their funding denied. They will be persuaded by the IRS, FBI, NSA and CIA. The game has been rigged for years.
Anyone that says the science is settled is not a scientist.

CJ, any of these scientists who changed their findings in order to get funding should be very easy to discredit.
“10 years ago, you thought X, now the moment someone cuts you a check, you think Y, yet the basic information has not changed. mr scientist..are you a prostitute? how much money will I need to pay you to change your mind back?(whips out checkbook) come on, name a number..obviously this was the sort of discussion you had with the federal government, so why so squeamish here?”

Agree Steve, NASA has ALOT being hidden. But which semi-honest group will investigate the Injustice Department?
Brings to mind: ‘The things which are impossible with men are possible with God.’ Spoken by Jesus – who was dealing w/ the fraud of that day. The reason the Jewish leaders wanted to kill him is the same today. Exposing them and holding them accountable takes away their power & control and puts the kibosh on the means/source of their insatiable greed!
People are taught that the devil isn’t real, regardless of the evidence in front of their face they continue to not consider it because of the brainwashing: ‘If there WAS a Loving GOD, He’d do something to make things right’. But their ‘understanding of what’s right is tainted and if Jesus appeared today the leaders would do the same thing the Jews did and the masses go along w/ it. Only the fraud will be accepted because he’ll stir the desires of the fallen nature and promise to fulfill their lustful thoughts and imaginations – liars promise many things don’t they!

That is a great question Zip, who investigates the DoJ when they are corrupt! An interesting parallel with Jesus. The leaders wanted him dead because he was a threat to their power and influence and apparently not much has changed with our leaders today. Yes they will promise many things, Satan promised Jesus the world!
