Tonight is my infamous cookout and fireworks show because tomorrow is Independence Day, I always look forward to this event. Here is Metallica performing “Don’t Tread on Me” live in 2012. Andy is in charge of the soundtrack for the fireworks display and this song was part of it last year but did not make the cut this year as he decided to change it up a bit this year.

Here is some interesting news for this weekend.
On June 28, the Miami-based law firm Beck & Lee filed a class action lawsuit against the Democratic National Committee and DNC chair Debbie Wasserman Schultz.
According to the attorneys “This lawsuit is our effort as attorneys to give a voice, in the political system, to all those who have been defrauded by the conduct of the DNC in supporting and promoting Hillary Clinton’s candidacy in violation of its own charter which requires it to be neutral,” …The class of representatives in the class action lawsuit is currently in the thousands and continuing to grow, as any donor to Bernie Sanders’ campaign eligible to join.
Maybe Bernie shouldn’t have sold out.

About 2:30 am, one cold winter night, as I had finished up a late day that earlier that afternoon with a pattern robbery committed by a real piece of work, and a bunch of us were staking out a series of locations, that turned out to be unproductive that night. I wrapped up the tour with aspirin and coffee, and another pack of cigarettes. Two and a half packs unfiltered, I knew the cause of the headache. The wind pushing the Crown Vic all night. It was time to finally go home, take a nap, before doing it all over again in a few hours. I drove my car to where the entrance of the highway was, only to find it closed because some kind of work was being done. The wind pushed. It was cold, and I wondered what could be so important on a night like that, to do road work. Whatever it was, I wasn’t too thrilled about it, and talked out loud to myself in my Brooklyn accent (“Lousy #$^&**&^%$$#$##@**#&). That means that I would have to take the streets through the city to a farther point about ten miles. The wind pushed. Go three lights, and stop. Go a couple lights, stop. Trash blowing on the ground across the road. The wind pushed. The streets empty of all life. I drove through several police commands, noting the streets, nothing, not a soul on the streets. Only trash blowing. Drove over about fifty newspapers at fifty different spots. Then, as newspapers were blowing in front of my car, a cardboard box, which I did manage to slightly vere and avoid safely. Then more trash, and more newspapers, and a snake. >Squish – Squish<, my car drove right over it. I stopped. I open the door and looked. An eight foot Boa Constrictor. It was frozen. I got back in the car, and the wind pushed, the cold bit. I thought of my tire treads, and the flat spot on the snake.

Brit, maybe I am missing something, but this could be a page out of a wonderful suspense novel….????? It was so descriptive, I felt I was right there 🙂

Unfortunately the meaning of the day has been lost on many people and it is now just a day off with a chance for a cookout and a couple of beers.

Bunker, it is all the nagging crap that keeps coming to the forefront that keeps me down…but yes we have alot to be thankful for, you are correct! I agree with Bruce, it cannot come soon enough!

The theme ‘don’t tread on me’ stands for liberty and individual freedom today. Before that flag there was a one w/ the snake in sections: Join or Die. Both depicting a unity and ‘striking’ out warning. When reconsidering it, the symbol of the snake, it brought other thoughts to mind opposite of this worldly meaning.
“…we push down our enemies: through thy name will we tread them under that rise up against us.” Psalms 44:5
“And ye shall tread down the wicked; for they shall be ashes under the soles of your feet in the day that I shall do this, saith the LORD of hosts.” Malachi 4:3

Do we really want to be identified w/ the snake? Or is this, again, another twisting of the real meaning? by the beguiling serpent. The Lie System of the World.

The snake is in so many symbols in our nation (even the health rod w/ 2 of them intertwined). The association is taken for granted as something good, liberating and healthy, but is that really true – the source? ‘Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.’ 2 Cor 3:17 (KJB)

Glad you brought up the Luke reference Bruce, most use Matthew 24. Just like so much of what we were ‘taught’ to believe as true isn’t in this Lie System World. BUT there will come a time of cleansing, reclaiming and reconciliation, we’re told in the writings of Truth.
I mentioned to Steve, replying to his comment, about hearing yesterday of a man-made armageddon. Just like today Psyops, technology and fallen angle/devil orchestration will be used to mimic the Real one (yet to come). Brings to mind the prayer Jesus gave to the 12. There’ll come a time when they’ll need Supernatural / Divine help and those powers will be given like Acts 2:1 And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place.
Fulfilling Joel 2:28 And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions:
Understanding ALL this … who can! We see in part and know in part, even Daniel was told the meaning would be sealed until it’s time to be revealed.
Meanwhile, may we be graced w/ the wisdom to determine friend from foe.

I always like the “join or die” flag with the cut up snake. I never even thought of what the snake represented, I missed that! In the mysteries the snake represents wisdom because that is what Satan promised Eve if she ate of the apple. And through knowledge man will be as gods…

Yes, that’s ‘how’ we were told by the fallen world Lie system to see it. But like Bruce pointed out in the Luke reference, treading on serpents is God’s way and reality on the subject.

Saw a teaching yesterday that blows much of what I’d been taught to be true out of the water! (the sea of fallen humanity). Do not hold your breath on the FBI. They appear to be another bloated federal agency. They have to generate statistics in order to justify their existence and justify their budget.
Some have alleged OPD did not follow correct police procedures based upon lessons learned at Columbine. The OPD will not provide info as to the number of victims killed by police nor the number of victims that bleed to death due to their tactics. There may be several lawsuits that may occur due to what took place.

I am waiting for the head count of injured/dead for the 4th of July weekend in Chicago….for some reason this means nothing to Obama. On any given night there are probably more shootings there than anywhere else in the USA and he chooses to ignore it….so much for a “gun free” zone, huh?

Yep, and they use all this to push their own Agenda – regardless of the facts (who owns the guns/ are they registered? are any of them from the F&F collection?).
Zero Hedge: ‘After the terrorist shooting in Orlando, we have reported that gun sales are taking off, and that overall gun sales in 2016 are on pace to shatter 2015 numbers.’
The gov. provides weapons to the criminals and desires to take them from those who are registered!
It’s like that comic of a home w/ a sign stating they don’t believe in guns – gun free zone! Gosh, that’ll discourage the criminals!
And I wonder if what the propaganda media is stating is the reality. Or how much of it is Regime’s driven.

I have come to the conclusion, Zip, that we should just protect our own….that and to mind our own business. If more people did that, we would have less problems in the world…it is when someone ELSE decides they know what is best for me AND my family and tries to get into my business, well, that is when the problems start. I don’t like to be told what to do and I damn well don’t think I have the right to tell anyone else what to do….why is that so hard to understand?

I agree Lou! Problem is, those corrupt in positions of rule (the shadow leaders) they care less about what we think or what’s ‘right’ ‘courteous’ to do! They understand completely what you’re saying. They just choose to disregard it and know that those w/ a good conscious won’t take them out illegally! They don’t concern themselves w/ their own conscious because it’s seared shut, lest it’s influences them to go against the Agenda.

In my estimation, they have sold their “souls” and cannot see where that would be anything but positive. So, how can anyone in their right mind think that way? Ya, they know what they are doing and they know it is not right….still they do it. So, with process of elimination, I would say they are NOT in their “right mind”….and what does that say about us if we put them there in those positions knowing what they truly are? We need to start voting them out of office and make sure they GO…..enough of this voter fraud going on.
