Latest Wisconsin primary poll shows Paul Ryan’s support dwindling

July 10, 2016

Speaker of the House Paul Ryan, aka John Boehner-lite, is facing a primary opponent and Wisconsin Republicans will be headed to the polls in early August to decide his fate. The latest Wisconsin poll is out and it shows the House Speaker with an 11 point lead over his primary opponent–Paul Nehlen.

It shows that with one month remaining before Wisconsin’s August 9th vote, Ryan is polling at 43 percent.

Ryan’s challenger, Wisconsin businessman Paul Nehlen, is polling at 32 percent.

It is never a good sign when an incumbent is below 50% and Paul Ryan is well below that threshold, but the news get even worse for Representative Ryan because his support has cratered since the beginning of the year.

The Nehlen campaign notes that Ryan’s 43 percent “represents a drop of more than 30 points since the Nehlen campaign began polling likely Republican primary voters earlier in the year.”

“This poll shows voters are considering their options and choosing to opt out of Paul Ryan’s job-killing policies,” Nehlen said.

That is a remarkable turnaround in a relatively short period of time and this should be a warning sign not only for Paul Ryan but for all Republican incumbents who are facing reelection but sadly I still do not think they understand why the voters are so upset with them. If they did they would understand the rise of Donald Trump.

It remains to be seen if there is enough time left in this race for Paul Nehlen to catch and then overtake the sitting House Speaker but with him making up so much ground Paul Ryan ought to be shaking in his boots right now.

People bitch and moan about how corrupt Congress or it represents the elite interest and or there is a need for term limits. Yet when it comes to their own Congressman or Congresswoman they are totally blind and will not vote for change that they want. It is pathetic that Ryan’s opposition is behind in the polls.

I guess they will wake up when their communities are over run with refugees who rape and molest the women and children and demand shariah law.

Yeah, people always say they want change and yet they keep voting the same people into office and then wonder why nothing changes!

Congresswoman Brown [D FL 5] was indicted for fraud.

    But here is the stunner:
Assistant U.S. Attorney General Leslie Caldwell, chief of the Justice Department’s criminal division, said in a statement.

“Corruption erodes the public’s trust in our entire system of representative government,” Caldwell added

Really why don’t you tell your boss!

Ryan should have been there. He said he wasn’t quite there yet with Trump.
