Hegelian Dialectic? Melania Trump accused of plagiarizing Michelle Obama
I honestly had no intention of writing anything about the Republican convention because I am sickened by the whole thing and have been trying to ignore it. Part of the reason I am sickened by it is because I feel this is all by design and the plan in now being executed to perfection.
At the risk of alienating more Trump supporters here goes: Many of you probably know that I have felt from the beginning that Donald Trump was a Trojan horse candidate who entered the race with two goals in mind–to help Hillary Clinton get elected and to destroy the Republican party. Day one of the convention was a fiasco and the biggest story to come out of it was the allegations that Melania Trump plagiarized Michelle Obama’s 2008 convention speech. When you read the text and listen to the paragraphs in question side by side there is no doubt in my mind that whomever the speechwriter was he or she knew what they were doing. It is too coincidental to be a mistake. I believe that Melania Trump had no idea where this part of the speech gained its inspiration but the people who added it to the speech did.
But there is another coincidence from last night which seems to have gone unnoticed and that is the fact that Donald Trump coincidentally just happened to decide to do a live interview on Fox News at the exact same time a Benghazi victim’s mother was giving her speech at the convention. In this speech she said Hillary Clinton should be in stripes but how many people left the convention coverage to listen to Donald Trump instead? I don’t know the answer to that question but it certainly seems to me that the billionaire businessman was trying to run cover for Hillary Clinton. Tinfoil hat material? Maybe, or is it the Hegelian Dialectic?
Regular readers know what I think about coincidences in politics–there are none and in this respect I adhere to FDR’s adage: “in politics nothing happens by accident. If it happens you can bet it was planned that way.”
I believe that whoever was behind adding those lines to Melania Trump’s speech knew that all the focus on the media would be on this story and not on anything else that was said last night.
malo periculosam libertatem quam quietum servitium
Every time that Trump does something that everyone says will end his political career his poll numbers go up. Defending Melania will help Trump.

I have seen that as well, there is no doubt there is a double standard but I cannot help but think Trump’s people understand this.

Of course. Democrats took Psych 101, and obvious to everyone, they, are the smartest ones in the room.

Obama copied Deval Patrick verbatim for a full speech as I recall

I can’t hear myself think with all that laughter going on! [That is another interesting subject ‘hear one’s thoughts – thinking to oneself.’ Some don’t bother to do that today, just go on auto – which is okay to a point, but depends on ‘what that auto is based on: ‘lie programming reality’ – of the world – or ‘truth base’ (which auto’s are taught not to think about!)] See the thoughts you inspire!!

Thanks sweet girl! God is good and I’m in much better spirits, still have some back issues but have a better ‘tude’ about it. I always thought back issues were for old folks. Oh, wait, I am old! HAHAHA!

Haha. Yes a good ‘tude’ is important for us middle age people! 💃Ballroom dancing might help – a guy friend in Phoenix loves it and it keeps him in shape.

I actually have a great work-out plan and stick to it, 4-5 times a week for an hour or more. Yes, it is a brutal undertaking but necessary. Looking at me you would not probably guess I had back issues. After all, it’s not how you feel, its how you LOOK! LOL! 😉 But thanks for the suggestion. How are you holding up dear girl?

If that doesn’t fly this will for sure! ‘Obama Administration Explains Its Own “Plagiarism” Was Merely “Inspiration” The White House press secretary explained “Obama didn’t plagiarize… he was ‘inspired by'” the former Massachusetts Governor.’
One person’s ‘inspiration’ can be another’s doing in regarding these Regimes.

Thanks for sharing that! Rules for Radicals is on my reading list and I had heard that he dedicated the book to Lucifer. Apparently that is the truth and it tells all we need to know about his followers, including Barack Obama.

The Regime might not allow it. Payment for their propaganda news ONLY! Good thought though.

I don’t know if he plagiarized the whole speech or just part of it but as Zip said, the White House is claiming there were “inspired” by it. Of course the media is over blowing this while ignoring Obama’s plagiarism but that is to be expected and I still feel like Trump’s people knew what they were doing.

The other thought it was a Dem plant. But the two of us come from a different direction on this. I’m agnostic on your point of view since the alternative is too much to bear. And I do worry about the Supremes if nothing more we might have a chance there.

That is another theory I hadn’t thought of Bunkerville but it is certainly possible!

Yes he did and let’s not forget Joe Biden either, didn’t he steal a whole speech when he was running for President years ago?

None of them write their own anyway, so they’re always stealing. Just part of the job.

Sadly you are right and this is what we have come to expect from our politicians. Of course the MSM only seems to expect it from the Republicans and ignore it when it happens with the Democrats…

Somehow the current Republican Party needed to be destroyed. The party has no agenda other than oppose the Democrats. When Paul Ryan says Trump is not a conservative it is laughable. Ryan is no conservative himself as is the majority of Republicas. Just look at the Heritage Action Scorecard for conservatism and the average score for House Republicans is an anemic 67%.
Trump may not be the ultimate future of the Party, but he has put forward several ideas that are worth discussion and are more inline with shrinking the role of the Federal Gov. The Republican platform is supportive of a reenactment of Glass Steagall. Maybe if Ryan and McCain are defeated for reelection the Republican Party can start to ween itself of its past.

Listening to Ryan and his ilk is laughable because if it were not for them they would not be in this situation in the first place. If they opposed Obama this vigorously Trump would never have gotten any traction.

Good grief…when a person is trying to list all of their spouses characteristics and aspirations, especially when they are running for president, it is almost IMPOSSIBLE to not overlap certain traits, characteristics or things they are striving to do or become! They ALL were ‘inspired,’ ahem, buy another in some way when writing speeches. All the Dems did was open up a big can of worms and whoop-arse. Ugh….

Hopefully this can of worms will come back to haunt them, people are now starting to talk about Obama’s plagiarism as well as Biden’s so maybe something good will come from this.

I haven’t watched any of the convention and probably won’t unless I watch a portion on YouTube. But one thing I have to respectfully disagree with you about. I do not believe that Donald Trump is a trojan horse to destroy the Republican Party. One reason I believe this is because, what the Republican Party is supposed to stand for, has already been destroyed by the Republican Party. As for standing up against Bill and Hillary Clinton and the things they do, no one is willing, not really, they like to talk the talk but not walk the walk. This makes me think that the ones that have the power are either compromised in some way or in the pocket of whoever like the military industrial complex or big big business like big Pharma or big insurance, big finance. This of course goes for the Democrats as well. Or maybe, like the Democrats, they just tell their constituents what they want to hear and they don’t personally believe any of it. And as far as beating Hillary, I don’t see a snowball’s chance in hell of anyone but Donald Trump beating her mainly because everyone else refuses to make mention of all the historical corruption and failings of Bill and Hillary. For the most part they just want to speak in generalities which will surely fail when it comes to the bare-knuckle politics of Bill and Hillary. There’s so many things to talk about concerning Hillary and Bill and their vast left-wing corruption. Do you remember when Hillary tried to make a stab at Donald Trump regarding women and his treatment of women? He he didn’t hesitate to point out that Bill Clinton had been accused of rape and not by some trailer trash. He shut down that conversation. Donald Trump isn’t perfect and neither are any of his opponents but I think he’s an honorable man. At least much more honorable than anyone else that stood on that stage with him except Ben Carson. Remember everyone but Donald Trump signed a pledge to support whoever won the convention. As soon as it looked like he would be the winner of the convention they started shouting never Trump. Today on Rush Limbaugh I heard someone speak about this and Rush said well those days are over and no one expects those politicians to keep their word. Well that’s just not acceptable to me. I’m hoping Donald Trump is, taking this illustration from the Bible, a brand plucked from the fire for a purpose. Do I think Donald Trump’s a Christian? Probably not but I don’t know everything. But God has used gentile klngs in the past for His purpose. Read the book of Daniel regarding this. In ending, I will just say that Hillary Clinton is the Jezebel of these days. If you don’t know who she is, she was the most evil woman in the Bible. And we must do all that we can to see that she isn’t the leader of our nation. Donald Trump may loose but he our only chance to beat her I think.

You bring up some great points, thanks for your input. The Republican party brought this upon themselves and I am actually enjoying watching them squirm after years of thinking they could get away with not doing what they promised to do. My problem with Trump is that I wonder if he really holds the positions he claims to hold because many of them are different from his positions in the past. He may be the only one with the guts to actually attack Hillary Clinton and not back down. Romney started to attack Obama in the last election but after the Candy Crowley incident he lost his courage, that will not happen with Trump.
