Chris Matthews claims mentioning big city names is racist

July 23, 2016

We can now add something else to the ever-growing list of apparent racist code words and dog whistles and that would be mentioning the names of big cities. This from none other than Chris Matthews and Chuck Todd:

Chris Matthews and Chuck Todd agreed that mentioning the names of big cities is racist “coded language.” Matthews previewed Donald Trump’s convention speech and was horrified over the presence of words such as “Baltimore” and “Washington D.C.”

Matthews somehow theorized, “When you get back to the angle, the edge, it’s about big cities with large minority populations. You go back to that old thing of bashing Washington, D.C., the old Marion Barry days, bashing Baltimore and Chicago, those city names evoke minorities.”

Chuck Todd agreed, “There’s some coded language.”

Earlier in the night, Matthews hit the same point. He ranted, “You’re going to see a lot about the big cities. There’s going to be an ethnic aspect to this, a racial aspect to it.”

So just mentioning these cities is racist code language but apparently calling at risk youths “super predators” and saying “we need to bring them to heel” as did Hillary Clinton while she was First Lady is okay. So much so that CNN will even go so far as to cut the feed if a reporter tries to even bring it up.

Hillary would like to bring everyone to heel which by the way really conjures up some pictures.

Chris Matthews didn’t actually say it was racist. He must have been using a coded language.

What the so called drive by media always do is Rules For Radicals:
RULE 3: “Whenever possible, go outside the expertise of the enemy.” Look for ways to increase insecurity, anxiety and uncertainty. (This happens all the time. Watch how many organizations under attack are blind-sided by seemingly irrelevant arguments that they are then forced to address.)*

Also it is amazing how quickly they all speak the very same judgments and talking points like after Trump’s acceptance speech. They must all get the same mass distributed text giving them their marching orders.

Bunkerville is right; I heard a montage of different media outlets using basically the same phrasing to report Trump’s speech. There is no doubt in my mind somebody is giving them the talking points and they are running with them.

We’ve known that Chris Matthews was a head case ever since he got a “tingle” down his leg because he could vote for Obama.

Additionally, they want to stifle talk of the problems of the large cities because almost all of them are in trouble from the failed Liberal policies they’ve been following.

All the inner city murders and violence stem directly from Democrat/Liberal policies. They’d rather talk about cops killing Black people than they would about how over 90% of the Black people murdered are killed by other Black people in those same big cities.

Talk about the big cities and you have to talk about Black on Black crime – that’s a no no.

It’s a shame that we can’t get this on a main steam TV news broadcast
