Debbie Wasserman-Schultz resigns from the DNC in disgrace and is immediately hired by Hillary Clinton

July 25, 2016

Yesterday Debbie Wasserman-Schultz announced she would be resigning as the head of the Democratic National Committee after leaked emails showed some members on the committee were actively working to undermine Bernie Sanders’s attempt to win the Democratic nomination.

Interestingly enough she was almost immediately hired by Hillary Clinton, here is more:

Hillary Clinton has hired soon-to-be-former DNC Chairwoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz. DWS will resign from her position effective at the conclusion of the Democratic National Convention. It was revealed that the DNC was effectively working to sabotage Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) during the Democratic primary, prompting calls for her to resign.

Clinton emailed supporters and said that Schultz would join the campaign as “honorary chair” of the 50-state program to ensure Democrats win elections nationwide. Wasserman Schultz will continue to serve as a Clinton surrogate.

debbie-wasserman-schultzYou can read Hillary Clinton’s full statement by following the link I provided above and it is interesting to note Hillary Clinton said Debbie Wasserman-Schultz will “continue” to be her surrogate. Doesn’t that basically confirm that she was a surrogate while head of the Democratic National Committee?

Even if we pretend that this appointment was not payback for helping to screw Bernie Sanders over this is going to fan the flames of discontent with Bernie Sanders’s supporters who are already at the convention protesting loudly. It is hard for me to figure out how Hillary Clinton, while trying to win over angry Bernie Sanders supporters, could think this was a good idea–especially so soon after she was forced to resign. But I think this shows us the arrogance of the former Secretary of State, she does not care how this looks because she honestly believes she can get away with this and that Bernie Sanders’s supporters will just fall in line.

And Clinton wonders why we don’t trust her.

She has to know why at this point, doesn’t she? Who knows though because she is so arrogant she thinks nothing can happen to her. And she is probably right…
