Open thread for Sunday, July 31st: ‘November Spawned a Monster’

Now that the conventions are over and Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton are officially the nominees I cannot help but feel that no matter which candidate wins the election that November will spawn a monster.
So here is Morrissey singing “November Spawned a Monster” live from 1991. This song has nothing to do with politics, it is about a disabled person longing to be loved but I think the title is apropos to how I feel about this election so I decided to share it this week.
Morrissey sings about dejection, rejection, loneliness, and about not being accepted and as you can see by this video he has a knack of connecting to his fans who probably feel the same way. To those who need comfort I would suggest a reading of Matthew 11:28: Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.

That was a pretty funny video, thanks for sharing it. Trump needs to do what he did to Fox and refuse to debate unless this is changed.

Both politicians (lawyers, bankers) and religious leaders are the same in doing this to the people. Like you state Steve are like a monster – but nothing new under the sun.

We’re even warned about the preaching of another Jesus and another spirit which isn’t of God, rather the god of this world, and those without spiritual discernment (made alive by receiving God’s Truth and Spirit) will fall for the delusion. One delusion sets up the next, then the next until the Liar is receiver as Truth. Man-made, fallen spirits inspired.

Nope, nothing knew under the sun! It is interesting to see what Jesus said about lawyers! The last video was fun but at the same time is showed you how easily a person can be tricked if they are not paying attention and I think the MSM does something like this all the time.

Yep, we’re pretty easily fooled at times and when dealing w/ an entity that’s been around before the Garden, think how well he knows how to trick us. The first two I posted because ‘events’ to come stated in the Bible can be manufactured as real by the mimic and his minions, making people believe things are of God and they aren’t. That’s what’s going on now w/ the bluebeam and other tech we don’t even know about! Another reason to lean on the One Who does! the Beloved.

I guess it is easy to mix reality in with the deception and that is what is happening today. There is only one answer and that is to pray to be able to be able to tell the two apart and as we know evil has been around since the beginning.

While the Democrats are distracting everyone with the Russian threat the real threat is Tiurkey. Obama has been given many warnings that the political situation in Turkey is deteriorating. Erdogan has become a dictator who supports the Muslim Brotherhood and radical Islam.
The USAF has an airbase at Incirlik Turkey with 1,500 personnel and possibly a nuclear arsenal. The electric power was cut off and the air space closed during the recent failed coup. Erdogan now is apparently allowing anti America sentiment to take hold among the Turks. Where do you think they will target to vent their anger?
The U.S. should have left Turkey after they shot down the Russian military jet. I guess Obama wants to embarrass the U.S. Military again and hand Erdogan nuclear weapons.

It just keeps getting worse and worse over there as time goes by. I don’t know what Obama’s objective is over there but he always seems to be on the wrong side…
