Hillary Clinton hits Donald Trump for calling the explosion in NYC a ‘bomb’ seconds after doing the same and NBC runs cover for her
Hillary Clinton issued a statement on the explosions in New York City and after she did she was asked to comment on Donald Trump calling the explosions a bombing before all the facts were known and this is what she had to say:
“Well I think it’s important to know all of the facts about an incident like this. That’s why it’s critical to support the first responders, the investigators who are looking into it, trying to figure out what did happen. I think it’s always wiser to wait to until you have information for making conclusions, because we are just in the beginning stages of trying to determine what happened.”
It sure looks as if the former Secretary of State is calling out the billionaire businessman for speaking on the attack before the facts were in, doesn’t it? The only problem is that in her opening statement, which apparently this reporter ignored, Hillary Clinton called this attack a bombing, here is what she said just seconds before:
“I’ve been briefed about the bombings in New York and New Jersey and the attack in Minnesota. Obviously, we need to do everything we can to support our first responders. Also to pray for the victims. We have to let the investigation unfold. We’ve been in touch with various officials including in the mayor’s office in New York to learn what they are discovering as they conduct this investigation and I’ll have more to say about it when we actually have the facts.”
Of course Hillary Clinton’s supporters will claim there is nothing inconsistent about these two statements and they will claim she technically did not call out Donald Trump, however look at the way NBC covered this story:
Donald Trump stated a bomb went off but that we still didn’t know the details of what happened and Hillary Clinton, as can be seen in the statement I posted above, said basically the same thing but you would not know it by the deceptively edited video NBC put out, would you?
Of course this is the second time the mainstream media has edited a video to favor Hillary Clinton in the last week. Earlier this week CBS edited a video (using the age-old time constraint excuse) which showed Bill Clinton admitting Hillary Clinton frequently passed out due to dehydration.
