Sunday, October 2nd open thread: ‘Disappointed’
Here is the open thread for Sunday, October 2nd. Please feel free to post links to interesting articles and to discuss whatever issues arise during the course of the day. Nothing is off-topic here.
Last week we only discussed 5 stories but did you miss any of them? If so there is an easy way to make sure it does not happen again. The Twitter widget in the sidebar is fully interactive. This widget updates my tweets in real time and allows you to respond to or retweet my tweets right from the blog. It also allows you to tweet me right from America’s Watchtower. How cool is that! If you do not have a Twitter account what better reason do you need to sign up for one!
When the Sex Pistols dissolved in the wake of Sid Vicious’ death singer Johnny Lydon (AKA Johnny Rotten) started a new project in the 1980’s called Public Image LTD. He was forging for himself a place in the newly minted alternative rock genre and took on a slightly different sound from what his fans were used to. That last part caught my attention, of course!
It brings to mind Matt and Luke 4 when Jesus’ is out in the wilderness and the devil comes to tempt him. Luke 4:4 And Jesus answered him, saying, It is written …

Even the devil quoted ‘For it is written’ …
Romans 1:25 Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen.
What happens when Truth is called a lie and ‘self’ is raised up! The sin nature ruling, in all it’s pride, arrogance, flesh pleasing and high mindedness, without restraint.

What are they breaking thru? That’s already being done by TV programming! I know they’re talking about the hardcore victims (actors and such) but people are getting just as ‘self consumed’ and ‘zoning’ without the Nazi techniques!

Well Zip, I don’t Understand where are you going with this, John Lydon is a little devil in his own way, always been always will. The Target is « Establishment ». A bit like you when you kick The Anthill of NWO.
That Jesus did fullfied The Prophecies, It doesn’t Surprise me and yes It was Written and yet the Curtain was blinding…except for a few… And It is still valid today..

Thanks for your explanation Swiss. There seems to be a number of spiritual curtains that continue to ‘blind’ – even the Wiz of OZ goes there! I just caught some of the lyrics and they got me thinking – via other vids. We only know what we know, and are allowed to know/able to know. What we do w/ that knowledge and where we go w/ it I guess speaks to who we are! Best to you Swiss!

That was a fun one Swiss! 🙂 Dancing is such good exercise! and FUN! Some good old tunes too! esp. that last one Tainted Love (Soft Cell remade that, as you know)! Thinking about the word ‘tainted’ … something starts out good and with time gets tainted, usually. We live in a high maintenance world! Always having to clean and groom, keep things in order or the scum taking over!

Good catch Steve! That’s a secret that the world system doesn’t want people to know! They want people to think ‘freedom’ means fulfilling the lusts that come to mind! Those lust are consuming and the never satisfied (only for a short time). That’s what we see with those in power and fame positions, how it destroys them, more is never enough!
What the lying world wants us to believe isn’t for our good but our downfall and destruction.

Yes, Jesus said while earth at his first coming, “even now are there many antichrists;” 1 John 2:18 (KJB) 2 John 1:7 For many deceivers are entered into the world, who confess not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh. This is a deceiver and an antichrist.
I think Bari is a test tube baby! His bio-dad sure isn’t Obama Sr.! The way the ‘rulers in high places lie’ who know!
As for being the cardboard cutout for the UN who knows! When one has power, MORE is desired and never enough.
