A Canadian English Professor claims canoes are racist

October 29, 2016

PC-Police-opaqueThe PC police are running amok on colleges all across the nation: A University of California fraternity was forced to cancel a fundraiser because coconut bras and grass skirts are racist, the University of St. Thomas was forced to cancel a “hump day” event because they were going to have a petting zoo which included a camel and that was deemed insensitive towards Muslims, and Dartmouth University had to cancel a “phiesta” event because they were selling tacos and that was racist.

Another college had to cancel a “jail and bail” fundraiser and one college even had to cancel a space-themed event because of its supposed allusion to illegal aliens, which obviously was not the type of aliens the campus was talking about. All of these were fundraisers for children and they were shut down.

But this ridiculosity is not limited to just college campuses in this country: A Canadian English Professor has determined that canoes are racist and represent genocide. Here is more:

“Certainly the majority of wilderness canoers are people who have a very privileged place in society,” she said. “They’re frequently highly educated people. They’re almost completely white.”

“We have a whole set of narratives that make the canoe into something that seems ordinary,” she continued. “But I think if you look a little further that narrative obscures or erases another narrative – and that narrative is about, to be blunt, it’s about theft and genocide.”

Canoers are people who enjoy the outdoors and nature and like to spend their spare time enjoying what they love. There is no micro aggression in their hobby and yet they are being called “privileged” people who don’t understand the “narrative” is “about theft and genocide.” Is it just me or has the whole world gone insane?!

I guess my naivety on this issue makes me a backwards, knuckle-dragging, flat-earther know-nothing who does not understand the complexities of the modern world…

I have always been proud to be a door kicking, knuckle dragging, flat earth, Neanderthal.
    (Yep. I self-identify as a Neanderthal)

The judge at jury duty, looked at me, like fred Gwin looked at Joe Pesci, in My Cousin Vinny.

I am not a very tolerant person, nor am I a very nice person (depending on who I am around), anymore. I am fed up and I am pretty sure it SHOWS! You know, “the look”!

Wait till this Canuck-is that racist referring to a Canadian as a Canadian- learns that in the 60’s and 70’s there was a men’s cologne called Kanoe spelled with a K to disguise the manufacturer’s obvious contempt for a native people’s mode of transportation. Infamnia!!!

I guess Old Town Canoe and Kayak will find this amusing.

    I always thought rowing/sculling was more hi-so.

I am not fond of CLOWNS, CJ! Thanks for showing me this, haha!
In Springfield, Il, as I was passing thru last night coming home from my brothers for the day was a radio commercial…..it was for DeJa Vu or as it is called by locals “the Vu”, it is a strip joint. They are having a CLOWN party tonight, come as a clown and the “girls” will be on stage in costume, or what they want to say are costumes….I can only imagine how I would NOT want to be there…..sick people, yes sick people.

All this tak about canoes… well, I can’t wait for this summer so I can take out the canoe for a fishing trip, I’ll pack tacos in case I get hungry, and when I go in the canoe I never forget my sombrero, as those really keep the sun out of your face and it would be a shame if I forgot it.
