Election Day open thread
I posted an election night open thread back in 2012 and it was pretty popular so I thought I would do the same this time around. I have to admit that I have never been as unmotivated to vote as I am today but I will head to the polls and “vote my conscience.”
As for the New Hampshire races: with the exception of the Second Congressional District in New Hampshire, where is appears as if Democratic incumbent Anne Kuster is going to coast to victory, all the other races seem too close to call. It does appear as if the Republicans are trending in the First Congressional District, in the Senate race for Kelly Ayotte’s seat, and in the governor’s race but it should be a long night before we know the outcomes of these races. This could be good news for Donald Trump but we will have to wait and see.
As I write this I do not know whether I am going to hold my breath and vote for Kelly Ayotte (after emailing her on more than one occasion telling her I would never vote for her again) or write myself in. I am leaning towards holding my breath in order to hold the Senate but it is far from being set in stone…

Sad isn’t it Swiss. Problem goes back to the Garden when the usurper took over Adam’s throne (god of this world 2 Cor. 4;4 and is also prince of the power of the air presently Eph 2:2) altering the course of this world ‘the spirit of iniquity’ ‘the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience:’ The ‘conner’ is still alive and well and we’re seeing it more and more as though the veil of the lie is being lifted – the curtain opened. Ignorance is bliss!
If we really had leaders in that weren’t chosen for us by those against us (shadow world leaders Gov.)! and our votes really mattered [how much is on the net about this RIGGED ELECTION!] Sean might be stating something else! Is his perspective/reality real or just part of the staged reality of illusion the elites have scripted (the snake revised)?

As the America we once knew continues its lemming like march to the sea to the accompanying of the ever patient left’s incremental beat we find 5,000+ black garbed armed to the teeth seal team type personnel on the streets of New York City; there to protect voters from intimidation at the polls as well as the potential threat of radical Islamist attacks. Will voting one day become as dangerous as it is for a woman walking near her home in broad daylight or a child playing in his own front yard? Whatever today’s results the left will continue to tear down our culture, our constitution and in general our once semi-carefree way of life.

It looks as if there is going to be heavy turnout and I think that favors Trump. Exit polls say 72% think the economic system is rigged: I can’t decide who this favors at this time. Does it mean people are fed up with politicians or does it mean people are jumping on the Elizabeth Warren bandwagon?

I think the heavy turnout favors Trump as well, Hillary’s voters don’t seem to be as motivates as Trump’s are. If Trump takes PA and then turns one of the too close to call traditionally blue states it could be a long might for Hillary.

Early results show Trump up big in Florida and New Hampshire. On the state level Guinta, Sununu, and Ayotte are up big and Kuster (who I predicted to win easily) is down big but it is very early and all the polls have not closed in New Hampshire.

Rubio is going to be interesting to watch. He still wants to be President and he is no fan of Trump. Not speaking ill of people and not judging people are the two things I have to work on the most! It is not easy!

I hope there is a way that we, the people, can send a message to the Republicans that we will no longer tolerate them opposing president Trump. Forget the Democrats, they’re a lost cause. That things will not be as it was before. They need to turn from their Global corporate Masters and begin to serve the people of this country by staying within the guidelines of the Constitution. Hopefully, the sleeper has awakened as Frank Herbert put it. And I hope all believers in the Lord Jesus will pray that the Lord guide President Trump.

I worked as a Poll Watcher all day yesterday, left at 4am and got home around 11pm?? Missed out on the pizza and beer at the GOP headquarters, but wanted to stay and watch the breaking down of the polling place. I worked as a judge 4 different times and it has not changed much, except for the computer voting and being online to check signatures, same concept, however.
While I was sitting there thinking how LONG of a day it was going to be, I was also thinking about my grandsons and what life they will have it the country keeps slipping to the left. It surely would with Clinton. I was watching people come thru and I could pretty easily pick out who was going to vote for Clinton. There were alot of people coming in that were trying to register, but did not have the proper papers to show. There were those that did not want to vote for anyone BUT the presidential race. Guess they were not interested in what happened locally, they should have been. I watched as the judges, most being retired and older and barely able to understand the concept of the computer age, struggle to do what needed to be done. I was impressed with both parties being civil to one another thru the whole day. Of course these were older people, not young hot headed youth that might not be well behaved. I checked ever so often out the door to see who was in line, as there were rush times, but seemed like the whole day was a steady stream of people doing the duty of what was rightfully theirs to do. I thought IF and when Clinton gets in, will we possibly not have voting in the future? I thought alot of things while I was checking names off, as they came thru. I watched the interactions of voters and judges to see if all was on the up and up. The election judges get paid $135 for the day, it sounds like alot, but when you figure they were there the night before and then all of election day, it isn’t. As a poll watcher, I got nothing…no let me rephrase that, I got lunch delivered. Was it a good trade off for my time of making sure no fraud happened? Sure it was! We had attorneys stop by thru out the day to see if there were any questions….mostly it went pretty smoothly. If any of you, by now, know the type of person I am, to NOT be able to talk to any of the voters that came thru was a bit of a problem. I actually had to talk “thru” a judge to relay my message to someone, that was probably the most difficulty I had. I stayed til the machines were packed up and ready to be picked up. The judges, 2 of them, had to deliver any materials to our guy at the court house to be counted. He is a democrat, you might wonder if I trust him? For sure! Like I trust our local county sheriff….party affiliation does not make the person, but you can be hard put to explain that to someone else.
When I finally got down to the GOP headquarters, I was really not sure how the count was going to go, the pizza was gone….we finally left, after all the ups and downs and went to Steak n Shake to get a very late supper and then home. At 2am I heard them call for Trump to be the winner on Red Eye Radio, I thought I would be happier and it is not that I was NOT, but I know the long road he has ahead of him to bring our county back to possibly what it was before Obama. Obama has done more damage than most people can imagine, but the general public has no idea, but WE do. I sat and thought that now we control the house, senate, presidency and have the ability to put conservative minded judges in the SC and other lower courts. If Clinton had gotten in, we know that the SC would be lost for generations. I want someone in there that looks to the Constitution, not decides what they “feel” for how they rule on a case, Clinton was not the person to put those judges in place. We also got more Governors out of this race….as good as that all sounds, I think back on when we got control back of the house and senate and we thought that we were going to be in control of what should be sensible or normal ways of running the country. Boy, was I surprised (not really) when they told us that they just could not stop Obama from what he was doing, they didn’t have the ability….what???? Well, now we have given them that back, again! What do you think the outcome will be, this time? I think that Trump is NOT Obama and I do not think he will make idle threats, I think he will try to work with other leaders until they do something that is NOT in Americas best interest. I think that Trump will be a formidable opponent and one that will be feared, but probably liked, as well. I think that those in Congress that went against Trump need to be voted out. I think alot of things, but right now, I am letting my guard down, just a little and heave a sigh of relief that Clinton is not at the controls of our country. for at least the next 4 years. I have to think at some point in the near future that I can say out loud “LIFE IS GOOD” and mean it……..sorry this was so long, but I had things to say and you know how I am……

Hey Lou! REALLY APPRECIATE YOU taking the time to type all this out to share w/ us!! Gives us a look into that part of the scene of what goes on from that view point – probably pretty similar to other places. I bet it was difficult to not speak up at the moment and have to go thru the ‘assigned communication lines’. I saw a pic of a muslim women voting (CBS or ABC – one of them) and I knew she was voting for Helga (as Dave calls her – posted a vid by him in comments above). So, I know what you mean about being able to look at a person and know who they’re voting for.
A gal in the community here wasn’t as relieved as I with Trump winning and I figured she was a Clinton brainwash victim. I told her, ‘Well looks like we won’t be going to war w/ Russia anytime soon!’ She shook her head, saying she wasn’t sure about that. (That was on the list of things to do w/ Hilly – ww3).
I told her, now is the time for making money and that being more important than war. Bari was the one pushing those button as directed by his bosses. I like to see American troops and contractors get out of Syria and other countries the ‘evils that be’ are using them for their own gain, and let them be!! (US leaders have been providing ‘chem gas’ for their rebels to spray on the people in Syria – sickos).
Your logic and reasoning and respect is something this new ‘millennium youth’ thinks (because that’s what they’re being taught in school, in the media and entertainment world) is outdated and holding back ‘progression’. They’re so indoctrinated things that we see as immoral and ‘not right’ they’re being taught Okay, ‘Who are you to judge?’ and immorality is in the eye of the beholder. That is of course until they’re raped, stolen from (and are conscious of it!), abused in a real way (which really they are currently because of the dark and dirty reality programming and teachings they’re getting => pulling them away from freedom and justice!). The husband was also going to do Poll Watcher and was “drafted” to be an Election Judge, they had only 1 other Republican judge and all the rest Democrats where he was sent. He is pretty smart AND a fast learner, haha! We also got a number of friends to step up to the plate and fill in for that day, I felt it was SO important to do, if someone could do it. I have always been in a position of trouble shooting and scanning scenes and making changes, etc….making split decisions on problems…so I not only did logistics, but was one of the trouble shooters….the lay out at the place was driving me a bit crazy from the time I walked in the door. However, having to overlook my OCD (no I really do not have that, but maybe??) I sat back and observed. The “oldies” as I call anyone older than me (but out of respect) tried their best and guess, it went as well as it could for such a massive inflow of voters. Some people have only one speed and that might be SLOW. There were a lot of 18 year old first time voters signing up and that, I hope, lets me know that they are at least interested in the voting process….but, as you say, what have they been taught and how will they vote??? We can only hope that as they get older and have to actually get out and get jobs that they will start taking a more conservative view and vote with their heads and not with what a liberal professor told them to vote.
I do feel that we have set the left back on their heels for now, but we know they will re-group and come out swinging even harder….always have, always will. I think that Trump and his new Administration will be up to dealing with it.
As for now, I have a lot of stuff to catch up on and as I said, I will back off a bit from being so keyed up on politics…it has to stay as a player, but not one of the major things I have to focus on. As I get older, my multi-tasking is starting to slow down and I get a bit angry with myself when I start running out of steam. Guess that is natural. My MIND, however is always working hard, just the body tells me to take a break!

A good trained eye is important to have in that arena and position! I’d categorize you Lou as efficient and dedicated, utilizing your ‘correct’ training – is a plus rather than minus!

I’ve seen some vids showing the ‘immature youth’ stating they’re voting for Hilly, other youth the same age that aren’t koolaid’ers you can tell are anti-Clintons because they ‘know’ what they’ve done – who they really are (murderers, stealers, pedophiles [recently spotlighted Lolita Express] {that’s another [Muhammad] practice that the libtards want to make ‘accepted and normal’ calling it liberated}, selling out the Country, etc.
Like you state the ‘left’ (is what one has when they don’t have the BEST – what’s left over) will push, but if people can be ‘re-educated/conditioned’ and unHypnotized from the Lies they can start to reject that ‘perverted thinking and numbing affect'(Stopping Chemtrails would help, GMO’s etc). It seems that Trump wants to unite people together and firing all the liberal teachers / profs. and return to Foundational teaching would be a start – scrub the ‘sexual indoctrination sickness out and bring back Higher Standards and Quality of Life and Being! My 2½¢ worth.

Most of you by now know that I sleep very little…I have Red Eye Radio on all night and I “doze”, not sure if it getting older, but I just do not ever have a full nights sleep. Last night, while listening, I concluded 2 things of which I will tell you my opinion here.
Number 1, all this rioting of illegals and their saying that Trump is trying to break up their families makes me shake my head (smh)….aren’t they ILLEGAL to begin with and aren’t THEY the ones that will be responsible if the family breaks up for being here in the first place? Cannot they just take their family and go back HOME? I think the anchor baby “thing” needs to be addressed, it is LONG overdue to set that straight. I heard that Mexico want to build a wall on our Southern border,,,,what for? To keep the illegals from heading back home? Even they do no want them.
Number 2, all these special snowflakes in colleges that are now coloring and playing with puppies and kittahs and drinking hot chocolate and having “cry-ins” and are supplied with tissues (KLEENEX), aren’t they supposed to be adults? My question is where are their parents and why are they not telling them to shut the hell up!!!! When I was in college, I had to work 2 other jobs to pay my way, are these “kids” so special that all they have to do is attend class and not worry about who pays? My kids were not treated that way. Have we just raised a bunch of sensitive kids in the college generation and who is going to take the blame for them? Are these the special children that are rioting in the cities? They best not think they can damage my car or attack ME!
Correct me if I am wrong, but were we (Republicans) told that “We won, you lost, get over it” inn 2008 and 2012? Didn’t we pick up and go on with 8 years of a living hell and planned ahead for the take down that just happened? Did we even have the time to wallow in our pity and cry our eyes out? Funny how there are 2 different sets of rules, isn’t it?
