Howard Dean calls Steve Bannon a Nazi

  The left has become unhinged after Donald Trump’s surprise victory over Hillary Clinton in the 2016 Presidential election. The same party which once told conservative voters to “get over it” after Barack Obama won reelection now has no intention of getting over it themselves.

  Instead of trying to heal the wounds of a deeply divided nation the left is promulgating unrest and civil disobedience with their rhetoric hoping to stir up violence so they can say “I told you so.” They are putting their own personal agenda’s ahead of everything else by trying to ensure a self-fulfilling prophesy of violence. (I have no problem with civil disobedience or protesting the government however when people are being pulled from their vehicles and beaten just because they supported Donald Trump the line has been crossed between civil disobedience and anarchy.) 

  The latest example of this comes from Howard Dean when he went on the air and called Steve Bannon a Nazi. Here is how it went down:

“He’s a complicated guy,” Dean said, referring to Trump. “He appoints a reasonable person, who’s much more conservative than I am, but someone you can talk to, as his Chief of Staff — and then the senior’s adviser’s a Nazi,” Dean exclaimed.

The interviewer interjected. “OK, hang on. Slow down. This is interesting. You’re talking about Reince Priebus, who is the chairman of the Republican National Party [sic], right? He’s now [Trump’s] Chief of Staff. Steve Bannon, who ran something called Breitbart News –”

Dean interrupted: “Which is a far-right, antisemitic publication.”

“You called him a Nazi?” Solomon asked, incredulous.

 “Well, He’s antisemitic, he’s anti-black and he’s anti-women,” Dean said.

“People like to throw around this word,  ‘Nazi.’ It’s a pretty big word,” Solomon said.

Dean replied: “It’s a big word. I don’t usually use it unless somebody’s really antisemitic, really misogynist, really anti-black.”

“You really believe he’s that — I mean, again, he –” Solomon asked, before being interrupted.

“You go look at Breitbart News, you’ll make up your own mind,” Dean said.

  To be honest I do not know much about Steve Bannon but I cannot help but think back to the Gabby Giffords shooting when Barack Obama urged Americans to begin using language that heals and does not hurt and I cannot help but notice how the President has not really said anything to quell the unrest in the wake of the election.

  There is no place for this type of rhetoric in American politics, we have been reminded of this time and time again by the left, and yet now that the shoe is on the other foot they are resorting to the same type of rhetoric they accused the right of engaging in over the last eight years. What happened to “when they go low we go high?”
