Allen West meets with Donald Trump
We no not have any details at this time but it is being reported that Allen West met with Donald Trump and his foreign policy team earlier today.
Here is (not much) more:
Colonel Allen West met with President-elect Donald Trump’s foreign policy team on Monday, including Vice President-elect Mike Pence, Mike Flynn and KT McFarland.
He may not be joining the upcoming administration, though.
After the meeting, West told reporters that he discussed national security issues with the president-elect, but said he was not offered a position.
“I mean they know my reputation very well,” he said. “I’m just a simple soldier and I’m the third of four generations that served this country going back to my father in World War II, and we still have a relative of ours that is continuing to serve in the Army now.”
It was reported over the weekend that Donald Trump was expanding his Secretary of State list and it sounds like thankfully Mitt Romney and Rudy Giuliani are no longer in the running so is it possible that Allen West is now being considered for the position?
This is pure speculation on my part, we will have to wait and see if anything comes from this meeting.

Alan West is a Goldman who talks the talk and walks the walk. He would be a fine addition to the Trump administration.

Glad to see that Stein’s being thwarted – although she IS raking in the money. Probably from University students too – who’ve been brainwashed and are controlled: what to feel – no right thinking allowed!

Zip, Stein and the Democrats are running this sham recount just to prey on those who are still in shock and denial about the election. They are taking advantage of them and I believe they are most likely getting their contact information so they can tap them for money every time they created a new “crisis.”

Worm mentality is a great way to describe it Zip. Stein has already said she might not spend all the money on the recounts, I wonder where it is going to go if she doesn’t. What a scam!
Remember when the left claimed there would be riots in the streets if Trump lost? Yet that didn’t happen when Obama won twice, they are projecting their own violent mindset on the right.

I am glad Trump is talking to more people about the SoS position. I think Trump has enough ex-military officers on his team. I think West may have a skeleton in his closet. The other rumor is Trump is going to talk to Rex Tillerson, CEO Exxon. A business person could shift the focus of State. If you think about it energy is the most important international issue. All of the ME is about the control and use of oil. Russia and Ukraine is an energy issue. The three countries that Trump talked to; Japan, Taiwan, and the Philippines involve energy. They are energy importers. China is also an energy issue. It wants to claim an area in the South China Sea that has oil and gas deposits. The area is also claimed by South Vietnam and the Philippines.
As Trump has pointed out the U.S. has allowed itself to be out negotiated by other countries. Maybe someone with a business background makes more sense at State. If Trump is serious about no more regime change then he needs a SoS who has a different focus.

It sure was over the top and that is why I have this feeling Trump was not serious about Romney at all, he just wanted to lead him on and the pull the rug out from under him.

Have never been a fan of Romney…he accepted the loss of the Presidency all too easily. As for West, I think he is an upstanding guy and we would be lucky to have him in our corner. I doubt there is anyone that doesn’t have something in their background that can be blown out of proportion….I just want to see this Administration GONE and I do not want to see them replaced with duplicates. I also would love to see Ryan AND McConnell out of those positions, but for some reason they keep getting voted in….hmmmm, maybe that means a few of them that voted them in need to GO as well.

Yeah, the purge is not complete as long as those two hang on to positions of power and I think it tells us they still have not come to understand why Trump beat all the insiders.

I think they will work “behind the scenes” with the Democrats to keep Trump from doing what he needs to do to set things right for us again. Apparently they have alot to lose IF we win….sounds counter to what it should be, but guess anymore I do not put this kind of sneaky crap above the Republican establishments level. They are really not much different than the Democrats when it comes to trying to take middle America down.
