Brian Williams blames ‘fake news’ for Hillary Clinton’s loss
This week has been full of what I like to call deliciously ironic stories and tonight I bring you another one:
The Democrats are having a tough time coping with the election loss and are looking for excuses for it. They just cannot come to grips with the fact that Hillary Clinton was a horrible candidate and a very unlikable person so they have rallied around this idea that “fake news” is to blame for her loss. (This denial is fine with me because until they admit what the problem was they are going to continue in a downward spiral.)
But here is where the irony kicks in: today Brian Williams decided to slam “fake news” and blamed it for Hillary Clinton’s loss, here is more:
“Fake news played a role in this election and continues to find a wide audience,” Williams said on MSNBC Wednesday night.
Williams targeted retired Lt. Gen. Michael Flynn, Trump’s national security adviser, for promoting links to fake news stories on his Twitter account.
Of course the ironic part of this whole story is the fact that Brian Williams was fired for creating “fake news” back in 2015:
MSNBC anchor Brian Williams, who lost his job with NBC’s nightly news for exaggerating details of his time reporting in Iraq
In 2015, Williams was suspended without pay and eventually removed as NBC’s anchor when he admitted he exaggerated a story he often told about coming under enemy fire while riding a helicopter in Iraq.
But that is not the only time Brian Williams reported “fake news:”
In fact, back in early 2015, Breitbart News presented a list of at least 32 times that NBC News let Williams present such fake news to the American people—lies and disputed stories—including his false claims about being in a helicopter that was hit by an RPG.
I guess we should believe his testimony on “fake news” because he is an expert, you just cannot make this stuff up!

What the legacy news organization are attempting is censorship. They do not want the public getting their information and opinions from other sources. For example Hillary’s health was labled fake news and the msm would not report on it. Hillary lost because the msm was no longer able to control information. The internet and the hundreds of political websites like this are what breaking msm’s strangle hold on information. Trump is communicating directly to the world. There is no filter between him and the receiver of his message.

You nailed it, labeling all news which does not fit the agenda is a form of censorship. The internet has made it difficult to control the narrative and that is why the Democrats want to get their hands on it but we cannot let this happen.

The Dem*s thought they’d brainwashed enough people and rigged enough votes (multiple votes) to be successful. [Stein has the same ‘spirit’ as the Dem*s so she was with them from the start and all the recounting to give them a chance to rig the election in their favor.]
Even their definition of ‘fake news’ is contorted. Like you stated Steve, they’re the ones shoveling in the cesspool news which is the real fake news. Are these people so delusional and distorted that they really believe the lies so much to see them as true? Obviously. Tossing in some Scripture because it predicted this would happen: ‘changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator,’ Rom 1:25 – this war of information has a spiritual connection, which truth and the lie began. Even the best of people, the smartest, can be deceived and made dumb.

Yes, they have tried to blur the lines of reality but they still haven’t figured out that the internet can be the great equalizer in exposing their lies. Worshiping the creature and not the Creator is a perfect description of what is going on!

Always looking to point the finger instead of digging deep (and in this case you don’t have to dig at all to see the light!) and ask yourselves what could have been done better or differently!! A different candidate, for starters!!!!!

I think there are people who are getting nervous about their jobs and are now trying to do whatever they can to deligitimize Trump so if he begins a purge they can lead a “revolt” against him and I am thinking the CIA people are worried as well.

Ya, I thought so. I am seeing more and more respect for the 4 legged friends that are used to protect us. That should be happening, as well as retiring them so they can live the rest of their lives out in comfort and love.
