Did the Obama regime help orchestrate the UN’s anti-Israel settlement resolution?
In the wake of the United Nation’s anti-Israel resolution which passed with the abstention of the United States the Obama regime claimed it did not push the resolution but was in fact a bystander during the lead up to the vote. The Obama regime stated the reason for the abstention was that there were things in the resolution the United States did not agree with therefore they could not vote for the resolution in good conscience. It would seem to me if this was true the United States should have vetoed the resolution so it seems as if there is more to this story…
However, if this story is true, that might not be entirely true it appears as if the United States not only not a bystander but also helped to craft the resolution in secret meetings. Here is more:
An Egyptian newspaper published what it said were leaked transcripts of alleged secret meetings between senior White House officials – including Secretary of State John Kerry – and the Palestinian Authority that purport to show that the Obama administration orchestrated the anti-settlement resolution at the UN Security Council.
Egyptian paper Al-Youm Al-Sabaa published what it said were transcripts of alleged meetings earlier this month between Kerry and National Security Adviser Susan Rice on the one hand, and chief Palestinian negotiator Saeb Erekat and head of Palestinian intelligence Majaad Faraj on the other. In the transcript, Kerry is quoted as promising that the U.S. will “cooperate” with the Palestinians.
“We are ready to cooperate with you at the Security Council [to ensure] a balanced resolution. We have instructed our representative to the UN, Samantha Power, to maintain contact with the Palestinian representative Riyad Mansour,” Kerry told Palestinian officials according to a translation from the Arabic by Hebrew-language outlet nrg.
The alleged transcripts purport to reveal the Obama administration’s attitude towards Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, with Kerry and Rice quoting as saying that Netanyahu wants to “destroy the two-state solution. Erekat predicted this four years ago and he was correct. Except for minor changes, Netanyahu wants to keep the status quo.”
The White House is denying this report but the State Department has admitted it did coordinate on the UN resolution, but only to make sure it was not too one-sided.
I do not know how legitimate this story is but I do find it odd a lame duck President and a lame duck Secretary of State would do this so close to a new regime taking over in the United States unless Barack Obama wanted to stick it to Benjamin Netanyahu one last time before they left office.

This was a two for. Remember Trump wants to move the U.S. Embassy in Israel to Jerusalem and he has appointed David Friedman to be the new ambassador to Israel. .Friedman is in favor of settlements in the West Bank. Obama and Netanyahu do not get along because of the Iran deal. I think att times Netanyahu is his own worst enemy. Obama hopes he has placed a road block for the Trump administration. The UN is basically a third world forum that is unnecessary and counter productive.
The Jews and the Muslims will never agree on how to resolve their conflict. Jerusalem should be made into a city state administered by some atheist international corporation that protects all the religious sites.

I think you nailed it! Maybe Obama thinks he was putting up a roadblock for Trump, that would certainly explain the timing, but I don’t see this doing anything to stop Trump’s agenda. It looks like sour grapes to me.

From what I have heard from two talk radio commentators Cairbama and horse face are indeed responsible for this anti-Israel subterfuge .Obama’s stating that his administrative is the best friend the Jewish state has ever had is blasphemy of the highest order. These two traitors should be sharing a jail cell with lard ass.,

It is interesting to note that France, among mixed reaction by the audience to Ratbiy Kerry’s speech, applauded it. The frogs have morphed into lemmings after all.

Seems like before Bari leaves he wants to start a war w/ Russia, to top off his Legacy. I think Russia would probably take him out before he’s able to do any more damage than he already has and that would probably be done by a non-Russian contractor or maybe Isis! Being removed by one’s own weapon, maybe makes it more of a martyr type of deal.
Hopefully more Pro-American minded Gov. this time.

I think Trump and Putin are already mending fences and rebuilding. Bari ego will suffer even more when he realizes he’s been tossed out the back door where the trash containers are and where he had the Dali Lama leave the WH by – a different backdoor that the terrorist leave by.
