Barack Obama was warned about Russia’s hacking attempts months ago and did nothing about it
Now that Hillary Clinton has lost the election all the talk is about how Russia hacked into the system in an attempt to defeat the former Secretary of State. Some are even blaming Russia for Hillary Clinton’s defeat although there is no proof the Russian hacking ended up playing any role in the election.
What has been lost in this argument–and I would argue purposely so–is the fact that Hillary Clinton’s decision to use a personal email server left the United States vulnerable to a cyber-attack in the first place. But on top of that we previously learned that the FBI tried to warn the Democratic National Committee that is was vulnerable to Russian cyber-attacks several times but the warning were ignored–even after the DNC was warned its system was breached.
Now we are learning, according to this story, that Barack Obama was warned months ago about this and did nothing to stop it. Here is more:
Rep. Devin Nunes, chairman of the House intelligence committee, said he has no doubt that Russia tried to interfere in the U.S. election, but that’s nothing new, he said — “this has been going on for a long time.”
“Six months ago, I publicly came out and said that this was the biggest intelligence failure since 9/11, was our failure to understand Putin’s plans and intentions,” Nunes told “Fox News Sunday.”
“We’ve known that Russia is a very sophisticated bad actor in the cyber realm. Many members of Congress, not just members of the House Intelligence Committee, have been warning the Obama administration about Russia’s continued cyber attacks on this country, and they did nothing.
“And so, now, as you look forward, you know, they lose an election, and then it appears like they want to change this narrative into somehow that Russia was responsible for Hillary Clinton losing the election. And I just don’t buy that.”
If this is true, and I am inclined to believe it is, what I think this shows us is that the Democrats were so sure of the inevitability of Hillary Clinton’s election they did not take the warnings seriously and did not want to bring up an issue which could distract the American voters from the eventual preconceived outcome. After all, if it was known Russia was trying to hack into the system it might cause people to question Hillary Clinton’s decision to use a personal email server at a very inopportune time so they ignored the threat.
But now that the Democrats lost the election they are trying to blame Russia when in fact one could say their inaction on this threat makes them a co-conspirator in the hacking. After all, if you know a crime is being committed, or is about to be committed, and you do nothing to stop it you are almost as guilty as the person who committed the crime because you passed on an opportunity to stop it.
It is more than just a little disingenuous to be outraged after the election is over when they knew about this all along and did nothing because they thought there was no way Donald Trump could defeat Hillary Clinton. Even Mitt Romney understood the threat Russia posed way back in 2012 and for his effort he was mocked by Barack Obama and the Democrats for living in the cold war past.

While China, every Tom, Dick and Harry as well as Russia have been doing this crap along with the US intelligence but it served no purpose to bring this out unti grandma Clinton needed cover for her high crimes and misdemeanors. This whole Russian crap is about as newsworthy as Gretchen Bride of Frankenstein Carlson moving over to MSLSD and Mr Bow Tie moving to the 9:00 slot at FOX U.

Who is Rep. Nudes carrying water for? The DNC leak was not the result of hacking. NSA will not comment on the Russian cyber warfare capability. The U.S. intelligence community is bent on this storyline and has come at it from every angle. It does matter who was told what about hacking if did not occur.

I have heard that story before and if I am not mistaken I heard it was Podesta who screwed up.

I left a comment on Brit’s blog that maybe Putin should send over some ‘real protectors’ to guard Trump’s signing in. I bet there’ll be some contractor’s there to safe guard Trump – knowing that those who have been behind the latest “fraud Regime” are still in FBI power positions. LOTs of FIRING to be done – Old days call it getting your pink slip (which would be apropos for those hiding behind the FBI badge)!
I like what Trump posted on his twitter – inviting people to come and join in on the fun! Positive type of thinking ~ how refreshing vs the poopie, smelly! 🙂

So, I don’t think it’s the blogger or Alt news he wants to come down on, rather the ‘real’ mis-leading and indoctrinating news feeds that have been sucking the truth and life out of real news and pooping out the waste product for the public to consume and believe!
