Rachel Maddow releases Donald Trump’s 2005 tax returns
Well, the blizzard ripped through here yesterday bringing about a foot of snow and some high winds. All in all I do not think the storm lived up to its hype. A foot of snow is not all that irregular for a winter storm in New Hampshire, more fake news. We made out well because we managed to keep our electricity, however we did lose cable and internet so I was out of commission last night.
So tonight I thought we should discuss some more fake news which did not live up to the hype–namely Rachel Maddow’s “blockbuster” news that MSNBC had got its hands on Donald Trump’s tax returns.
Of course it turned out that she did not have Donald Trump’s tax returns but rather the first two pages of his 2005 tax returns. After an embarrassing 20 minutes of rambling she finally admitted that while the number was large in regards to his income Donald Trump actually paid $38 million in taxes for the year 2015. This was a higher amount than Barack Obama and socialist icon Bernie Sanders paid on average. In one fell swoop Rachel Maddow destroyed the left’s talking point about how Donald Trump did not pay taxes.
For the life of me I cannot figure out what she was thinking. Did she not see the pages of his tax return beforehand or did she somehow think this was a negative for Donald Trump? In the end she ended up helping Donald Trump because the left has lost one of their major talking points. Perhaps she did it for ratings and if that is the case it might have paid off in that respect however if backfired on the Trump haters.
There is some speculation that Donald Trump, or somebody in his circle, leaked these papers in order to embarrass Rachel Maddow and to be honest I would not be surprised if that turned out to be what happened. If so this was a master stroke by Donald Trump because he managed to shut down the talk on his taxes while also exposing Barack Obama and Bernie Sanders has hypocrites.Either way I cannot help but think somebody played Rachel Maddow and she took the bait in her zeal to expose Donald Trump as a tax cheat. I have been smiling about this turn of events all day…

The term “bright bulb” here does not apply. I have to say I enjoyed the whole thing…I don’t know if you caught “The FIve” on Fox today, but it was just too funny as they “reviewed” her report. I hope you tube caught it.

I find it funny. The evil she intended came back on her ~ for we know she in no way was wanting to make Trump ‘look good!’ haha. Actually he ‘over paid’ his taxes and should get a ‘rebate’!
Now let’s see (not his real name) “Obama’s school transcripts” … oh, why are those still sealed up tight again, I forgot? hmmm
I wonder if Mad-dow will look into Hilly’s bribes being reported? Aw… probably not.

I find it funny as well because she wouldn’t have wanted to make Trump look good even for the ratings. Somehow she really thought she had something on him and I am not sure how she could have thought that, she must have been blinded with her hatred of the man.
It is interesting the way they report storms nowadays, as if we had never had one before. They cause all this hype and hysteria and I think you are right about it being about manipulation.

Guess that will teach her to try and make a big drama out of it, doesn’t she know that Trump will usually be a step ahead? Where is the outcry that should be sounding off now, remember when Hillary Clinton said that Trump had not paid any taxes for YEARS? Funny how that works.

For years Obama was one step ahead of the Republicans and now it seems as if Trump is one step ahead of the MSM. I do remember Hillary claiming Trump did not pay his taxes and I also Remember Bernie saying the same thing but it turns out he paid a higher tax rate than either of these two hypocrites and the MSM is silent.
