Donald Trump lifts Barack Obama’s climate policies
Before I get to the post I just want to let America’s Watchtower followers know that Lauri and I are home safely from our trip to Key West. What a beautiful location and I would highly recommend it to anyone. I am still trying to brush off the vacation hangover so it might take a day or two for me to get back into full-blog mode but here goes.
Earlier today Donald Trump signed an Executive Order to dismantle much of Barack Obama’s climate policy. Here is more:
President Donald Trump on Tuesday signed an order to undo Obama-era climate change regulations, keeping a campaign promise to support the coal industry and calling into question U.S. support for an international deal to fight global warming.
The order’s main target is former President Barack Obama’s Clean Power Plan, which required states to slash carbon emissions from power plants – a key factor in the United States’ ability to meet its commitments under a climate change accord reached by nearly 200 countries in Paris in 2015.
Trump’s decree also reverses a ban on coal leasing on federal lands, undoes rules to curb methane emissions from oil and gas production and reduces the weight of climate change and carbon emissions in policy and infrastructure permitting decisions
This has drawn the ire of environmentalists who are promising to challenge this is court but of course Barack Obama’s Clean Power Plan was already being challenged anyway. While that challenge was slowly working its way through the courts we can expect, if Donald Trump’s attempted action on immigration from several Muslim countries can be used as an example, the courts to move quickly to stop Donald Trump.
With NASA and NOAA having already been caught changing historical temperatures to fudge the global warming impact it is about time to slow down on this quasi-science but real political issue.
While the environmentalists are not happy there certainly is one group of people who are glad to see the President sticking up for them by keeping this campaign promise and that is all of those who have been hurt by Barack Obama’s war on coal.
Flanked by coal miners and coal company executives, Trump proclaimed his “Energy Independence” executive order at the headquarters of the Environmental Protection Agency.
“I cannot tell you how many jobs the executive order is going to create, but I can tell you that it provides confidence in this administration’s commitment to the coal industry,” Kentucky Coal Association president Tyler White told Reuters.

We ‘believing’ everything the indoctrinated Harvard scientist say is ‘our lot’ (so they think/imagine) … 👎🏻😤 but not our thinking and far from our imagination!

Thanks, we had a great time! I don’t have time to watch the whole video before I go to work but you make a great point of the irony of them being upset they were spied on after they spy on us all the time.
