Was Susan Rice behind the ‘unmasking’ of Mike Flynn and others?

   We are now learning, if this story is true, that Donald Trump, his aides, and his family were under surveillance for over one year before he took office in January. Nobody is disputing the claim the President was being surveilled before he assumed the office any more, it is now only a question of whether it was direct or indirect surveillance. 

  There is a report out there that claims Barack Obama was using national security as cover to spy on a political opponent. We know that none of the information captured on Donald Trump and his aides was related to the so-called Russian hacking scandal, and we also know that no information relevant to national security or foreign governments was  found, so that raises the question of why the surveillance in the first place? Everyone is still claiming despite this that the surveillance was incidental and indirect and while I tend to doubt this I will assume it is true for the sake of this post.

  Even if it is true that these officials were only caught up in the surveillance it is still illegal to release the names of American citizens. American citizens are supposed to be masked but somebody unmasked Mike Flynn and several others. We learned a couple of days ago that the person who unmasked these people was “high up” in the Obama regime and now it is being reported that Susan Rice might be the culprit.

Multiple sources tell Fox News that Susan Rice, former national security adviser under then-President Barack Obama, requested to unmask the names of Trump transition officials caught up in surveillance.

The unmasked names, of people associated with Donald Trump, were then sent to all those at the National Security Council, some at the Defense Department, then-Director of National Intelligence James Clapper and then-CIA Director John Brennan – essentially, the officials at the top, including former Rice deputy Ben Rhodes.

  And to top it all off just days before leaving office Barack Obama loosened the spying rules:

As the Obama administration left office, it also approved new rules that gave the NSA much broader powers by relaxing the rules about sharing intercepted personal communications and the ability to share those with 16 other intelligence agencies.

  I think it is fairly obvious Barack Obama knew what was going on and determined he needed to protect Susan Rice, and himself for that matter, before he left office. The Democrats were not worried about any of this at the time because they were certain Hillary Clinton would win the Presidency and this would be swept under the rug never to be heard of again.

  However she did not win the Presidency and now the Democrats are scrambling to keep this quiet while at the same time trying to prove collusion between Donald Trump and Russia. It is too late for them to drop the investigation at this point. In their lust to bring down Donald Trump the Democrats might have just ensnared the Obama regime. They will be walking a fine line from this point forward.
