MSNBC host wonders if Putin was behind the chemical attack in Syria to help Donald Trump

April 8, 2017

Since the chemical attack in Syria last week some people on the right have been talking  on social media about how this proves there was no collusion between Vladimir Putin and Donald Trump during the election–after all, if they were truly the buddies the Democrats have been claiming they are why would the President go against the wishes of Mr. Putin? I happen to fall into this category of thought.

However, what if Vladimir Putin actually was behind the attacks in order to make his buddy Donald Trump look good? It sounds crazy, I know, but this is exactly the question MSNBC host Lawrence O’Donnell is asking.

  Here is more:

“Wouldn’t it be nice,” O’Donnell asked a nodding, smiling Rachel Maddow, “if it was just completely, totally, absolutely impossible to suspect that Vladimir Putin orchestrated what happened in Syria this week — so that his friend in the White House could have a big night with missiles and all the praises he’s picked up over the past 24 hours?”

The theory was impossible to rule out, O’Donnell said, because of the Trump campaign’s ties to the Russian government.

“It changes the conventional wisdom about the dynamic between President Trump and Vladimir Putin,” O’Donnell said. “President Trump has finally dared to do something Vladimir Putin doesn’t like. It changes everything.”

O’Donnell didn’t offer any evidence on his theory, promising only that “you won’t hear … proof that the scenario I’ve just outlined is impossible.”

He admits he has no proof, in fact he goes so far as to admit it will be impossible to find any proof, and that is because this conspiracy theory was made up out of thin air. He exposed his bias here and he even tweeted about it:

To be honest I still have mixed feelings about this attack and whether or not it should have been conducted, especially from a Constitutional perspective, and I also have questions about the official story, however for a so-called news outlet to push this theory without any sort of proof for obvious partisan reasons is irresponsible to say the least.  The left is unhinged and it is showing more and more every day.

I suppose this type of speculation is what constitutes news in today’s America.

Oh, come on. He’s not hosting a news program, he’s a commentator. He was basically ruminating out loud, no different than most other commentators. And no different from many of today’s “news writers” who create fantasies for publication on sites like Breitbart or Addicting Info.

I generally support Trump’s action, and especially the way the decision was made. I think it was legal under the War Powers Act – imagine if the President had to run to Congress every time he wanted to discharge his duties as Commander-in-Chief, and then had to wait while the salons there debated every element of his plan.

We’re cursed with living in interesting times, and I think this particular episode is far from over.

Take good care and may God bless us all.

The only reason why I question the use of the War Powers Act on this is because we do not seem to have been in immediate danger–Syria did not pose an immediate threat to the US.

The same MSM that swallowed weapons of mass destruction has swallowed another fake news story. The US should be ashamed of what passes as news reporting. Investigative journalism does exist. Instead you have a talking head who will make up what ever they want.

Multiple sources have questioned the whole gas attack. The White Helmets shown n the videos has been discredited and yet the MSM accepts what they say. We know ISIS kills children. We know ISIS has obtained chemicals to make weapons.

If Trump is taking advice from his daughter and son in law the country is in trouble.

There are some reports out there which claim Assad launched conventional weapons which hit chemicals the rebels had stored. I hope we didn’t act too quickly.

From 21wire website US DECEPTION: The West’s ‘Peaceful Revolution’ Narrative in Syria Was a Lie From the Beginning

“In truth, the US ignited a bloodbath in Syria, and the final touches of this operation were made by the disgraced US Ambassador to Syria, Robert Ford (pictured in the video below, alongside Abdel Jabbar al-Okaidi, the violent terrorist militant FSA commander). Since Ford’s ousting from Syria, the crimes accelerated with US and its allies engaging in massive illegal weapons trafficking, financing and providing political cover to violent militants including internationally designated terrorists groups (another violation of international and US law) inside Syria.”

I had that thought as well. Then I realized my tin foil hat was a little tight. After some adjustments, I feel much better now.

How shameful that anyone gives pause to the utterances of the Hillary teat suckers on the buzaaro news channel. And given the caliber of the brain trust Trump (who I supported 100%) surrounds himself with may we consider a Wag The Dog scenario? How are them thar polll. numbers doing y’all?
