Donald Trump secures the release of Egyptian American charity worker who was held prisoner in Egypt
We all remember the hype in the mainstream media after Barack Obama negotiated a prisoner exchange to secure the return of Bowe Bergdahl to American soil. In that deal five GITMO detainees were released in return for one American deserter and the media went crazy hailing the swap and we all remember the high profile press conference with the parents of said deserter. It was supposedly a great day to be an American.
Aya Hijazi is an Egyptian American charity worker who has been imprisoned in Cairo for three years, you might not have heard of her because the mainstream media has not covered her story, but late last night she returned to America, along with her husband and four other Americans, after Donald Trump worked behind the scenes to secure her release.
Just as the media did not cover her imprisonment they also ignored her return and Donald Trump’s role in bringing her home. But she is now home, here is more:
An Egyptian American charity worker who was imprisoned in Cairo for three years and became the global face of Egypt’s brutal crackdown on civil society returned home to the United States late Thursday after the Trump administration quietly negotiated her release.
President Trump and his aides worked for several weeks with Egyptian President Abdel Fatah al-Sissi to secure the freedom of Aya Hijazi, 30, a U.S. citizen, as well as her husband, Mohamed Hassanein, who is Egyptian, and four other humanitarian workers. Trump dispatched a U.S. government aircraft to Cairo to bring Hijazi and her family to Washington.
Barack Obama tried to secure the release of Aya Hijazi but failed, Donald Trump did not. We still do not know the details other than Donald Trump has been working to “reset” US/Egypt relations, but I think it is safe to assume he did not release people who were being held at GITMO after being caught on the battlefield fighting against America.
malo periculosam libertatem quam quietum servitium

While there may not be a heaven there must be a hell because once these bastards in the media assume room temperature there must be a place for them to burn for all eternity.

I guess the life of one dual citizen is worth more than 43 unnamed Coptic Christians
Muslim terrorists just bombed two Coptic Christian soldiers, slaughtering forty three people (those numbers may change). ISIS is now claiming responsibility for the bombings that took place in the cities of Tanta and Alexandria. ISIS is claiming that it was “a security detachment” of their terrorist organization that carried out the massacre.

Inexplicably the charade, on some level, continues. Drop some more of the MOABs on ISIS headquarters and training camps and stop pussy footing around. And while there at it drop one on Geffin’s yacht before the community worganizer in chief once again rears his floppy eared mulatto Muslim head and continues his anti-american campaign.

Bari’s was anti-America and still is. None of what he did was for the good of Americans citizens. Be nice for he, Hilly and the group to be placed in Gitmo and have to pay for their own stay.

I agree 100%, it is interesting that he was willing to get Bergdahl free but not this woman.

The Egyptian President al Sisi had no interest in talking to Obama let alone negotiaing with him. Remember the Obama administration along with the Muslim Brotherhood caused the Arab Spring in Egypt. The Brotherhood was banned in 2013. The army is trying to constrain Egyptian society. Thus the army’s crack down on NGOs. The CIA sponsored IS is also causing havoc for President al Sisi.

He’s slimy – one of those creeping things, Scripture talks about!
Well, for all the pros and cons of Pres. Donald, at least he’s flushing, cleaning and correcting each day – so that’s an answer to prayer in my reasoning.
Some follow in the (sin) nature of man “They are all gone out of the way, they are together become unprofitable; there is none that doeth good, no, not one.” Romans 3:12
Other’s the way of God, and the fruits of His Spirit obvious: Love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law. Galatians 5:22-23

Obama is responsible for much of the unrest in parts of the Middle East and now we are paying the price. Bush also shares in some of the blame.
