The group behind the debunked Russian dossier is stonewalling the investigation

  Something interesting I have noticed during the Russia collusion/hacking scandal investigation: many people who were involved in the Trump campaign are willing to testify before the Congress but are being blocked by the Democrats while one of the groups at the center of the investigation, Fusion GPS, is stonewalling and appears unwilling to testify. Why is that? Do you find this as interesting as I do?

  Fusion GPS is the group behind the Russian Dossier which James Comey admitted was part of the basis into the investigation. This dossier has been proven to be false and Buzzfeed, which first ran with the dossier even though they admitted it could not be verified before CNN decided to run with it, is currently being sued for defamation. (On a side note it is interesting to note that CNN rehashed another version of the story over the weekend and was forced to retract it without providing an explanation, but I will get to that shortly.)

  So why would Fusion GPS be hesitant to testify in front of the Congress? In addition to the story being fake news it is being reported here the group is stonewalling the investigation because of their alleged ties to the Democratic party. Here is more:

A secretive Washington firm that commissioned the dubious intelligence dossier on Donald Trump is stonewalling congressional investigators trying to learn more about its connections to the Democratic Party.

The Senate Judiciary Committee earlier this month threatened to subpoena the firm, Fusion GPS, after it refused to answer questions and provide records to the panel identifying who financed the error-ridden dossier, which was circulated during the election and has sparked much of the Russia scandal now engulfing the White House.

What is the company hiding? Fusion GPS describes itself as a “research and strategic intelligence firm” founded by “three former Wall Street Journal investigative reporters.” But congressional sources say it’s actually an opposition-research group for Democrats, and the founders, who are more political activists than journalists, have a pro-Hillary, anti-Trump agenda.

“These weren’t mercenaries or hired guns,” a congressional source familiar with the dossier probe said. “These guys had a vested personal and ideological interest in smearing Trump and boosting Hillary’s chances of winning the White House.”

   This is only the beginning, there is much more to read about the connections between Fusion GPS and the Democratic party but suffice it to say this was a hit job and the Democrats have run with it. It is pretty obvious the group wants to keep its ties to the Democratic party secret for as long as possible.

  But speaking of ties to the Democratic party: as I alluded to above CNN recently ran a fake news story which it was forced to retract without explanation (this situation is now being investigated by CNN president Jeff Zucker who claims heads will roll, I will believe that when I see it…) and it is now being reported that a woman with a fake history of her own, Elizabeth Warren, might be partially responsible for the now debunked CNN hit piece. The “very fake news” scandal that is engulfing CNN inside and outside the left-wing network now reaches its highest levels as even CNN president Jeff Zucker is personally involved in the internal investigation into a now-retracted hit piece, sources inside CNN with direct knowledge confirmed to Breitbart News.

Meanwhile, Senate Democrats find themselves on the hot seat as insiders point to leftist staff for members like Sens. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) and Kamala Harris (D-CA) as being responsible for the thinly-sourced hit piece. Staff for Harris deny any involvement, but Warren staff have not responded.

  Even Buzzfeed, probably in an effort to resurrect its reputation while trying to distance itself from fake news, is turning on its partner from the Russian dossier, CNN, here is more:

These new revelations come on the heels of a BuzzFeed News report citing internal sources at CNN calling the decision to print the “very fake news” hit piece on President Donald Trump and his associates that inaccurately alleged they were under Senate and Treasury investigation—a piece a Breitbart News investigation forced CNN to retract—a “massive, massive fuck up.” BuzzFeed’s Jon Passantino reported that CNN sources told him that Zucker is “directly involved” in the matter now, as is the head of HR at CNN, and that “people will be disciplined.”

“Deleting stories without explanation is considered a serious lapse of journalistic ethics,” Passantino and Jim Dalrymple wrote for BuzzFeed on Saturday. “Other outlets, including BuzzFeed, have faced considerable criticism and embarrassment for deleting content. And while CNN deleted its story, a cached version was still available online because nothing ever truly disappears on the internet.”

  The left has become unhinged after losing an election they should have won and they are no longer thinking straight, the end justifies the means and if this means people like Elizabeth Warren have to make up stories in order to take down Donald Trump that is what they are going to do. But in their zeal to take down the President they are becoming sloppy and it is starting to catch up with them.

  Democrats like Elizabeth Warren, if this story is true, had better be careful of else they will become ensnared in a trap they thought they were setting for Donald Trump.
