Sunday, August 27th open thread: ‘Human’

August 27, 2017

open-thread  Here is the open thread for Sunday, August 27th. Please feel free to post links to interesting articles and to discuss whatever issues arise during the course of the day. Nothing is off-topic here.

Last week we discussed 7 stories, did you miss any of them? If so there is an easy way to make sure it does not happen again. I understand that all of you are busy and cannot always find the time to check the blog for updates so why not subscribe to America’s Watchtower and receive email updates whenever I write a new post? That is the easiest way to follow the blog to ensure you never miss another post.

In addition to subscribing you can also follow America’s Watchtower on Facebook and Twitter by clicking the links on the right. But you will get more than that for I often post links to articles probably will not be writing about so it is a great way to keep up with what is happening.

The Twitter widget in the sidebar is fully interactive. This widget updates my tweets in real time and allows you to respond to or retweet my tweets right from the blog. It also allows you to tweet me right from America’s Watchtower.

Here is Rag’N’Bone Man performing “Human” live from earlier this year:

My wife and I watched the movie 13 Hours, the story about the abandonment of the US embassy followed by the same of the CIA post there. This was nothing shirt if criminality in the part of lard ass and her mulatto boss. How the hell they got away with this without a prison sentence illustrates the wanton and rampant corruption run amok inWashington. It also amply addresses the outrage of the ROE which if not followed to the letter means a prison sentence. Utterly disgusting and criminal and responsible for how many dead american soldiers?

If justice isn’t served in this fallen world, they’ll have this to look forward to:
“And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.” Revelation 20:12
20:15 And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.
Revelation 21:8 But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.
They don’t want to be ‘found in the book of life’ because they follow the fallen god(s), and that is of their own choosing.

Thanks for the video Zip, I have to see this!
These people do not think they will face judgement for their actions but we all will in the end and they will have a big surprise coming.
I have been working on that post about free thinkers versus theologians that I mentioned to you last week and it is almost done. Lauri thinks it is very good but I keep tweaking it, I am probably going to email you the text to see what you think before I post it. I am very nervous about it but I keep reminding myself to not be afraid, just believe. 😉

Sounds good Steve – send it on over and I’ll take a peek at it. Sometimes it’s good to have someone outside of your bubble to view it. 👀 But, having ‘diligently’ worked on it as you have it’s probably ‘good to show’! Sometimes that hardest thing to do in this world is to believe the TRUTH, especially when worldly truth is based on ‘seeing is believing’! (But there is the line, “I saw it but I don’t believe it!”) Jesus told about the ‘rich man’ and Lazarus the beggar, (Luke 16:19-31) Both die and the rich man is in torment and has a conversation with Abraham across the divide. He asks Abraham in Paradise to send someone to his 5 brothers to “testify unto them, lest they also come into this place of torment.” They didn’t believe what the prophets said, but he thought ‘but if one went unto them from the dead, they will repent.’ Abraham replies: “If they hear not Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded, though one rose from the dead.” True, for after Jesus rose and was seen by 500, some still didn’t “believe”. Living by Faith isn’t wishful thinking or something we do like the ‘little engine that could’: “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.” (Heb 11:1) The spiritual Faith to believe Truth is given to us by its Owner. So your believe is really given to you by the One who enables you to believe in the first place! The beggar didn’t get into Paradise because he was poor and needy, he got there because he believed Moses or prophets about God – He believed in God. The rich man didn’t believe because his human faith was in his riches; not caring or believing beyond that. He didn’t believe God.
Why “all” that came out who knows! Anyway, I look forward to reading it Steve! 😊

I wanted to see this movie in the theaters but I still have not seen it. I need to see it but I am afraid it will just piss me off. 🙂

I know what you mean. Some scenes in these movies I have to fast-forward ~ too irritating.

I have amazon fire stick, a great “inexpensive” way to watch cinema. It beats the hell out of the $15.00 price tag to watch it in the theatre. My wife who is a political novice is still beside herself after seeing the truth or what happened versus the 24 hour news cycle from 2012-14 shifting any blame from that criminal administration and the lard ass who would be king (queen) to whomever they ( the media and the WH in their coordinated effort) could scapegoat.

I guess she is proof of how the MSM can mold the opinions of people who rely only on them for their news. Thankfully I think many people are using other sources for their news nowadays.

Some people just don’t want to know the inconvenient Truth because it causes a dominos effect, and all those “things” (lies) they’ve based their lives, thoughts and beliefs on are shown to be false. Like a house built on sand. Good for your wife though to watch these ‘eye openers’ with you, and you encourage her to ‘see’ (some husbands like their wives to be dummies – easier to manipulate and control! Love doesn’t work that way, as you know :). She probably has gal friends that speak against anything that disturbs their cart or rattles the bars of their matrix cage ~ because they’re ruled by “emotions” that are plugged into the ‘lie system’, in which they’ve invested their ‘identities’. And THAT’s what the LIARs put their efforts into Emotional investments, because they know it will always beat logic and truth (enticing the flesh, pride or eyes) ~ until the people becomes aware and stops being ‘manipulated’ by them – unplug from the matrix.

Some don’t want to see the truth but there are others who believe everything on the news has to be the truth because the news would not lie to us. I am not sure which one is more dangerous, but I guess the people who simply do not know they are being lied to, rather than the people who do not want to know, are less dangerous because they can find the truth.

The backdrop in the vid reminds me of Red Rocks, CO outdoor amphitheater. Your song selection was more to my old lady liking! 🙂
Just saw this today, others probably know but some might not:
“If you were born before 27 October 1962, Vasili Alexandrovich Arkhipov saved your life.”

Sometimes it just take “one person” of ‘reason and sense’ to stand up or stand down to avoid a catastrophe. The ‘evils that be’ want ‘the confused’ and ‘programmed’ to be in ruling positions to ‘stop’ even that ‘one’. Just like in Biblical days. The devil used Pharaoh (Ex 1:22) & King Herod (Matt 2:16) to kill all sons (under age of 2) so he could prevent Jesus’ rising to power, and murder ‘those in line’ of His genealogy ~ lest he even be born.

Great piece. I still recall my mom’s fear of annihilation thanks to the bureaucrats while an uncle pooh-poohed it as political theater. Imagine that , people expressing their own differing opinions, a practice no longer fashionable in Amerika.

    How the deranged consider ‘things’.

This vid is block in 7 countries (UK being one) and unable to be viewed on most handheld devises, game boards or tv’s due to copyright policy of Lionsgate. Found that interesting.

“Legalize what is needed for the next time.” That is the quote which really hit home with me, never let a good crisis go to waste…

Yep, and ‘we had to do this bombing and 911 to get your attention’ to pass the UN-patriot act (which we have no idea what’s ALL in that). If those viruses were used on them to ‘test them’ they wouldn’t be in that biz!

A Pastor taught about this and I liked the ‘meat’ of it. Later the thought came, ‘Sometimes we do something that we’re not really conscious of … what then? Can we be in control of all our thoughts and what we think about? Sounds like alot of work to me! I want a mind governor!’😊

To hear and have thoughts of Lovingkindness in the morning helps set a pattern for our day!
And to set a watch (guard) over our mouths, to keep the door of our lips, may require Devine help from a SPIRIT greater than our own! which tends to wear down! Ps 141:3
