Hillary Clinton’s timeline is wrong: she lied about why she called Trump supporters ‘deplorables’
I believe one of the biggest reasons Hillary Clinton lost the election–in addition to being a horrible candidate and an even worse campaigner–was because she called half of Donald Trump’s supporters a “basket of deplorables” and “irredeemable.” I honestly believe this turned off voters who were undecided at the time and I think the damage was irreparable.
Hillary Clinton has begun her book tour and in an interview over the weekend she denied this comment was part of her downfall, in fact she defended it:
“I thought Trump was behaving in a deplorable manner. I thought a lot of his appeals to voters were deplorable. I thought his behavior, as we saw on the ‘Access Hollywood’ tape was deplorable. And there were a large number of people who didn’t care. It did not matter to them.”
I was not a big fan of the way Donald Trump acted on the campaign trail. In fact I believe it is part of the reason he has not been able to get the Republicans to go along with him now that he is President, however that does not justify attacking the voters and it cost her.
During this interview Hillary Clinton basically double down on her “deplorables” comment, but there was one problem with her defense. Hillary Clinton made the comment in early September, as I wrote about here, but the “Access Hollywood” video was an October surprise. It did not surface until almost a moth after her “deplorables” comment.
A little revisionist history here? Kind of like coming under sniper fire in Bosnia, or Chelsea Clinton jogging around the World Trade Center on September 11th when the first plane hit, or that she was named after Sir Edmund Hillary, or that she tried to join the Marines, or that the Benghazi terrorist attack was due to a video…

Is there more context? I am reading the quote as her saying the tape was evidence not the reason behind it.

I thought about that as well when I read the quote however she lumped them all together. She cannot use the tape as evidence now to justify a comment she made before it came to light. It is convenient now, but was not the reason behind the comment.

Why not? We’re at the arm chair QB stage which affords us the benefits of hindsight. To be honest, if I was her ghost writer, I would have used the tape as evidence of that claim because it is the strongest.

I think she can use it as proof she was right, I won’t argue that point, but I don’t think she can use it as a reason for her making the comment in the first place.

She lost because ‘their manipulation of the voting ‘computers’ was ‘trumped’! The reason the “computer scientist” were urging Hilly to challenge the count in those 4 states is they’d already ‘fixed the count’ in her favor to ‘win’! and they couldn’t understand what went ‘wrong’ ~unless someone hacked in and reset them! People were being told “not to vote electronically” but paper, so they’d be counted. That probably required _Divine intervention_ that she lose – the Soros ‘computers’ were all set for her election. Doing a search to ‘find’ this evidence the AI has manipulated the ‘world computer’ to bring up the
“poor Hilly’s been hacked” rather than what I’m searching for (total manipulation and propaganda). They even push that Hilly won the “popular vote” which is total garbage, but that’s what they are! Those who ‘run’ the AI (dark fiend spirits) infesting and controlling public data and “interpretation”, just like those who abuse and twist/contort ‘the word of God’ – Bible – to say something HE’s not saying. Only those “in the know” are aware to both the physical and spiritual deceptions (not all, but some, needing to ‘learn’ more “Truth” to open eyes and ears).
Also, we’re in an age of what ‘appears to be, isn’t’. I’ve noticed the many ‘different’ faces of Hilly’ … can the ‘real Hilly’ stand up?
