Sunday, October 1st open thread: ‘Yertle the Turtle’
Here is the open thread for Sunday, October 1st. Please feel free to post links to interesting articles and to discuss whatever issues arise during the course of the day. Nothing is off-topic here.
Last week we discussed 8 stories, did you miss any of them? If so there is an easy way to make sure it does not happen again. I understand that all of you are busy and cannot always find the time to check the blog for updates so why not subscribe to America’s Watchtower and receive email updates whenever I write a new post? The Twitter widget in the sidebar is fully interactive. This widget updates my tweets in real time and allows you to respond to or retweet my tweets right from the blog. It also allows you to tweet me right from America’s Watchtower.
Way back in the day before they sold out, began to take themselves too seriously, and started thinking of themselves as “artists” the Red Hot Chili Peppers were a decent band. Here they are performing “Yertle the Turtle” live in 1999. This song takes its lyrics from the Dr. Seuss book of the same name so this video is dedicated to the Cambridge, Massachusetts school librarian, Liz Phipps Soeiro, who rejected Melania Trump’s gift of ten Dr. Seuss books just the other day.

The second link did not send me to a video but the first link is appalling, as you said! The Dems think they found Trump Katrina and they are using it to “prove” he is a racist and I find this whole thing disgusting.

Thanks for that video Zip. Pretty scary, isn’t it?! I would say that not only is ignorance not bliss it is also a tool of the lord of this world. Maybe not a tool, that might not be quite right, but he uses our ignorance against us and preys on the ignorant.

It worked okay for me. This guy makes some great points: Why is it that these people identify themselves with their sexuality and not with the larger scope of who they are as people? I am straight but that is not how I identify myself, I identify myself as a complete person. I am not perfect, nobody is, but I look at myself and others as either being good people or not. It is as a whole not as just one aspect. I hope that makes sense.
I also am concerned about these GMOs, we are putting all these things in our bodies and nobody seems to be stopping to think about what the consequences are or could be.

I posted the vid link again because I’d messed up ‘italicized’ it ~ consequently, it wasn’t opening as a window, just the link. I’m allowed 1 mistake a day and that was it! 🙃 I heard that the soybean produce is like 99% gmo and that goes into alot of products ~ and the naughty ones behind it don’t even have to put it on the label. Time to pray them out.

Hey Swiss😊The ‘spirit’ of darkness at work more and more these days. One thing that gets me about news reporters is how their pleased as long as they have something ’emotionally or sensory pinging’ to report ~ regardless if it’s “against them too!” Emotionally based reality instead of a “foundation of truth and reason”. …let us reason together.
“Come now, and let us reason together, saith the LORD: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.” Isaiah 1:18 that made possible, as you know, at the cross, going down into the bowls of the earth and raised back up to Glory! That’s good news for some and ‘nothing’ to others because they love the darkness.

This has some ear markings of crises actors used similar to what we’re seeing w/ the Vegas “event”. Many PsyOp’s going on. Check utube “vegas shooting psyop” and see what’s posted.

The part of this story that bothers me the most is we are being told he was shooting from two different places and yet the windows the shooting supposedly came from are not all that close to one another. I find it hard to believe one man was running back and forth between two rooms.
Also how did he get 20 weapons and hundreds of rounds into the rooms without drawing suspicion? I heard there was a gun show next weekend and that is a possible excuse but something does not ring true about all of this.
