The FBI opens up a criminal investigation into the Podesta Group
I have mentioned in a few previous posts that I believe the Democrats could rue the day they pushed the Russian collusion scandal to the point where Robert Mueller was assigned as a special prosecutor to the case.
It now looks like something damaging to the Democratic party in general, and Hillary Clinton particularly, could be unfolding. Last week we learned several facts related to the FBI and the Uranium One deal: We learned the FBI was investigating Russia, The Clinton Foundation, and others, and had evidence of collusion with, and bribery from, the Russians before the Uranium One deal but did nothing to stop it. We also learned Barack Obama’s Department of Injustice threatened and stopped the FBI’s informant from testifying in front of the Congress, and we also learned that the 10 Russian spies who were arrested and suddenly transferred back to Russia were originally arrested because they were getting too close to Hillary Clinton during the Uranium One negotiations.
As bad as this looks for Robert Mueller because he was the head of the FBI when all of this was going down it is even worse for Hillary Clinton, and today the news got even worse for the Democrats and Hillary Clinton with the news that Robert Mueller has opened up a criminal investigation into the Podesta Group’s ties with Russia.

Tony Podesta and the Podesta Group are now the subjects of a federal investigation being led by Special Counsel Robert Mueller, three sources with knowledge of the matter told NBC News.
The probe of Podesta and his Democratic-leaning lobbying firm grew out of Mueller’s inquiry into the finances of former Trump campaign chairman Paul Manafort, according to the sources. As special counsel, Mueller has been tasked with investigating possible collusion between the Trump campaign and Russia.
The sources said the investigation into Podesta and his company began as more of a fact-finding mission about the ECMU and Manafort’s role in the campaign, but has now morphed into a criminal inquiry into whether the firm violated the Foreign Agents Registration Act, known as FARA.
Tony Podesta is a longtime lobbyist for the Democratic party and a major Democratic bundler in addition to being the brother of John Podesta, who was Hillary Clinton’s 2016 campaign chairman.
The ironic part of this whole story is that this investigation spread out from the investigation into Paul Manafort’s ties to Russia. Paul Manafort was Donald Trump’s 2016 campaign chairman for a short time until his conversations with Russia became known and he resigned.
The Democrats used Paul Manafort as part of the justification for the appointment of a special prosecutor but to date I have not heard one Democrat even mention this new revelation…

I’m sure this question appears dopey but won’t Mueller have to clear. The Poesta Group to stay on his original biased mission, nailing Trump to the cross?

How about John Podesta? I did any number of posts how he and his daughter made millions on the deal. Aggravating when we have been posting for years about this and now they don’t pull out all that is. Just a drip drip drip…

The whole bunch of them are dirty and I am sure we only know a little of it. Mueller has to go after what we now but of course there is no call for his recusal.

Please, let all the stuff about Podestas and the FBI confidential report get released in public and be true.
I have been waiting to see justice come to Hillary and Bill since 1993.
Over the last 24 years, I’ve seen too much strange business going on around the Clintons to believe they are innocent. The only question I’ve got is which crime will finally get them convected.
Start with White Water and the bribes from China (oops – Campaign contributions) channelled and laundered through Al Gore, or any number of other crimes through Benghazi and the Rosatom deal – The Clintons aren’t so much a political family as they are a criminal syndicate. It wouldn’t surprise me if Chelsea got a piece of the action as well.

It’s amazing isn’t it Dr. Jeff how much they have been allowed to get away with over the years?! Everybody knows they are crooked but everyone is afraid of them. All we can hope for is that one day they finally push it too far.

I expect the FBI will amaze us in this investigation just as they did with Hiladbeast’s investigation. Swamp dwellers one and all. If the rank and file were better than their leaders why haven’t any of them come forward and revealed the corruption within the FBI?
