Happy Thanksgiving

I just wanted to take a moment to wish all America’s Watchtower readers a very happy Thanksgiving and also to thank you for all the support over the last year. I hope you all have a wonderful day surrounded by family, food, and friends.
I would also like to take a moment to remember those who cannot be home today because they are serving our nation abroad, it is because of people like them that we are afforded this luxury. Thank you!
“Offer unto God thanksgiving; and pay thy vows unto the most High” Psalm 20:14
“By him therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of our lips giving thanks to his name.” (Hebrews 13:15)

Happy ‘Thanks Giving’to you too Steve! I was thinking of the meaning of “Thanks” and found the 1st time it was used in TRUTH’s Book is in “revere or worship (with extended hands): 2 Samuel 22:50 Therefore I will give thanks unto thee, O LORD, among the heathen, and I will sing praises unto thy name.
“Expression of gratitude; an acknowledgment made to express a sense of favor or kindness received. Gratitude is the feeling or sentiment excited by kindness; thanks are the expression of that sentiment.”
“But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.” 1 Corinthians 15:57
“Thanks be unto God for his unspeakable [indescribable] gift.” 2 Corinthians 9:15

Ralph Stanley had some upbeat and ‘thoughtful Gospel songs’. Telling people this world’s system isn’t where our “hope” lies, but somewhere far Grander we can Trust & put our faith in, is encouraging. But, that we can practice living that spirit of Hope, here & now!

As individuals, we really do have a lot to be thankful for. Not the least of which is a President who will say Happy Thanksgiving, and Merry Christmas.

Seems like a simple thing, but it really isn’t is it. One who’s bent on destruction and ruin and another who ‘likes to celebrate Life’ and bring in “GOOD CHEER!” for all except the corrupt, pervs, peds, murderers & evils that are Big difference!
