Nancy Pelosi defends Al Franken and John Conyers but attacks Donald Trump and calls Roy Moore a child molester
I have purposely not written anything about all of the sexual misconduct charges that have been flying around lately because this has been hearsay and accusations but there have been no official charges against anyone to date.
Social media, specifically Facebook, has been full of people defending their candidates or politicians using the “the other side is guilty too” approach to downplay the accusations of the people they support. The left defends John Conyers and Al Franken by pointing to the accusations about Donald Trump and Roy Moore, while the right defends Donald Trump and Roy Moore by pointing to Al Franken and Donald Trump as if this somehow makes their support of their side more tenable.
But this is not a defense, it is a deflection, and what it shows us is that nobody is really interested in the truth or the alleged victims or the accusations. Both sides are trying to score political points and I find it to be disingenuous.
This is somewhat understandable on Facebook because nobody wants to admit the people they support could be in the wrong but when it comes to the politicians they should be held to a higher standard. We would like to think that our representatives are interested in the truth more so than scoring political points but in reality we understand that the politicians are even more guilty of sacrificing the truth for political dogma than the people are.
A perfect example of this comes to us today from Nancy Pelosi. She defended John Conyers, Bill Clinton, and Al Franken while condemning Donald Trump and Roy Moore. Here is what she had to say:
On Conyers, Pelosi said, “We are strengthened by due process. Just because someone is accused — and was it one accusation? Is it two? I think there has to be — John Conyers is an icon in our country. He has done a great deal to protect women — Violence Against Women Act, which the left — right-wing — is now quoting me as praising him for his work on that, and he did great work on that. But the fact is, as John reviews his case, which he knows, which I don’t, I believe he will do the right thing.”
On Franken, she added, “I don’t believe you can equate Senator Franken with Roy Moore. It is two different things.”
I am a firm believer in due process, which is why I have not written about any of these allegations until now, so it is refreshing to hear a politician talk about due process. Surely she will give her political opponents the same benefit of the doubt, right? Not so much.Why does she think there is a difference between Al Franken and Roy Moore? Here is what she said:
Pelosi called Roy Moore “a child molester.”
So much for due process, Roy Moore is guilty even though no charges have been brought against him. As for Donald Trump:
“So many women have had a bad experience. Now they are saying I have had a bad experience and now a person who possibly engaged in that activity is the president of the United States. I’m speaking out.
Nancy Pelosi is speaking out about the allegations against Donald Trump based on hearsay while she is willing to give John Conyers the benefit of the doubt because it is based on hearsay and this hypocrisy is the very reason why Donald Trump won the election in the first place.

This whole issue, sexeual harassment, is much larger than a few idiotic US politicians. In this video PJW puts the issue into the larger context of the radical left’s agenda of wanting to destroy society and remake it to fit the elites agenda of control.

The US society has lost its moral compass. Too many people have no morality or ethics. Many of our public institutions are a disgrace. Universities turn out amoral graduates who go on to infest the work place. I have meet too many professionals who are unethical, but they don’t see themselves as unethical. They only see themselves climbing the ladder of life and stepping on anyone in their way.
We are witnessing the laying bare of the morally depraved US. The US has and continues to inflict death and destruction wherever the elites want to go. We are allowing death in Yemen, in Africa. In Afghanistan we protect the drug trade that does tremendous harm to our own society. Hopefully we will get kicked out of Syria and Iraq.

Sunday morning I caught several minutes of CNN and to no stories caught a round table if 4-5 female “journalist/anchors” unfelentingly ripping Moore a new a-hole with no mention of the women groping/raping sleaze ball pervasive on the other side: It was The View on steroids. Sadly this is what Americans are digesting on a daily basis.

Yes these are the facts to date. Steve has written extensively on these facts. However, the Political Elite will do nothing because they are making money. The Dem and Rep are the same party. This fact is on display in the Alabama special election. The supposed McConnell candidate lost, so what happened next is the ungoing smear campaign aganist Moore.

Glad to see Moore win. The vileness of the perverted sickos is deep and dark. Notice when they win (like when Al Franken “stole” the MN election & probably computer rigging since that – along w/ Brarack stealing his 2nd run) they ‘deem that a fair election’. It’s as though the scum are being exposed more – the light of truth shining – showing us how repulsing they are (include Manchurian mcCain)! Scum is scum.
