John McCain associate subpoenaed in House Russia probe
It is now being reported here that an associate of John McCain, David Kramer, has been subpoenaed in the House Intelligence Committee’s probe of the Russian dossier. Here is more:
The House Intelligence Committee has issued a subpoena to an associate of Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) over his connection with the controversial dossier containing unverified allegations about President Trump and his ties to Russia, The Hill confirmed on Wednesday.
Committee Chairman Devin Nunes (R-Calif.) wants to talk to David Kramer, a former State Department official and current senior director at the nonprofit McCain Institute, about his visit to London in November 2016, a source familiar with the matter confirmed.
While in London, Kramer met with the dossier’s author, former British spy Christopher Steele, at McCain’s request, to view “the pre-election memoranda on a confidential basis,” according to court filings.
Kramer then flew back to the U.S. and delivered a copy of the memos to McCain, who then handed the documents to the FBI.
David Kramer has already met with the House Intelligence Committee and during that meeting he claimed he knew who the Russian sources used in the dossier were but refused to give up their names and this is why the subpoena was issued.
In the session, Kramer told House investigators that he knew the identities of the Russian sources for the allegations in Steele’s dossier. But when investigators pressed Kramer to reveal those names, he declined to do so.
Now, he is under subpoena. The subpoena, issued Wednesday afternoon, directs Kramer to appear again before House investigators on Jan. 11.
Everybody wants to know who these sources are for obvious, but different reasons depending on which side you are on, and this is an attempt to compel Mr. Kramer to give up the names although he could plead the Fifth.
I have a couple of questions myself which I do not hear the media asking: How did John McCain learn about the dossier? And why does one of his associates know who the Russian sources are?

McCain has been a big disappointment and his willingness to fight the President for personal reasons to the detriment of the country has made him even less appealing to me, So if he gets caught up, even in the most indirect way, in the Russia-gate farce is OK with me. He can see how much fun the President is having with this farce.

McCain has not covered himself in glory in his desire to get back at Trump and he played a role in the dossier. If he gets caught up in this I won’t have a problem with it either.

Would though it were that the trail led directly back to this crash dummy McCain who has done nothing for the ranchers in Arizona never mind anything for the country. The RINO’s of course laud him for all his hard work in the dump Trump campaign. And piss on the ignorant Arizona electorate for returning this one armed used car salesman (apologies to used car salesmen) to D.C. year after year.

What is there to wonder about McCain and the dossier. McCain is rabid neocon. He and Hillary share the same conspiratorial beliefs on Russian. Hillary is his Queen and he would have been in hog heaven if she was elected. War with Russia!
Remember McCain went to Syria and met with the “moderate” rebels. He is famously photographed with these thugs. He is also up to his ass in Ukraine because it represents a proxy war against Russia.

How such a vindictive man could have been reelected so many times is beyond me. You bring up some great points about his past actions and his meeting with the rebels. It is beyond time for him to step aside. I find it convenient also that he could not make himself available for a vote on the tax bill.

Just like I’m certain that Harry Reid is dirty, I’ve been pretty certain that McCain was dirty too. I just hadn’t known the details.
John McCain has been a known RINO for years. We also know that the RINOs made an alliance with the Dems a long time ago. Just how long ago would be an interesting question to answer. I know the alliance dates back to at least the 2nd term of Bush Jr., but I want to know how long before that it was in place.
The entire Russia/Email probe looks to be looping back to Obama, Hillary, Holder, RINOs, Wasserman-Schultz and Democrats in general.
This is going to be better than Watergate – much more complex and far reaching. I think we’re going to see not just a bunch of Presidential aides going to prison, I’ll bet on members of the FBI, the Justice Department, the IRS, A.G. Holder and possibly even Hillary (though I think she’ll skate), going to prison. There’s even some chance of Obama turning up guilty as well.

I hope we end up learning just how dirty they all are and maybe with Trump getting in there we will someday find out. They are doing all they can to get him out of there and I think we know why.

Watergate was relatively simple and still took from June of 1972 until August of 1974 to unravel. That was the time from the original break-in until Nixon’s resignation.
Despite a mountain of evidence, Nixon almost got away free and clear. Only the White House recording system finally brought him down. Even John Dean’s testimony wasn’t considered conclusive enough.
Especially when you consider the dealings of the Clinton Foundation and Bill’s campaign contributions from China, in addition to the uranium deal and more, this one is incredibly complex. How many different violations can you think of that should be added to Hillary’s and Obama’s side of the ledger?
Wrongful death from the Fast and Furious gun running?
What actually transpired when Bill Clinton met Loretta Lynch? What kind of obstruction of justice took place?
How deeply was the FBI compromised when Hillary got a pass on her email server? How badly did that server actually compromise U.S. security?
How many legal loopholes can the guilty parties use to escape prosecution?
I’m still thinking much of Lois Lerner’s testimony is hidden in sealed documents, away from public and much legal scrutiny. She’s still trying to get the whole thing permanently sealed.

I noticed before this latest health thing, he had been galloping around the world, meeting with all kinds, and little if any reporting. Who is/was pulling his strings? Great question and what was he about?
