Sunday, May 6th open thread: ‘Whatever it Takes’

May 6, 2018

open-thread Here is the open thread for Sunday, May 6th. Please feel free to post links to interesting articles and to discuss whatever issues arise during the course of the day. Nothing is off-topic here.

Last week we discussed 6 stories, did you miss any of them? If so there is an easy way to make sure it does not happen again. I understand that all of you are busy and cannot always find the time to check the blog for updates so why not subscribe to America’s Watchtower and receive email updates whenever I write a new post? That is the easiest way to follow the blog to ensure you never miss another post.

In addition to subscribing you can also follow America’s Watchtower on Facebook and Twitter by clicking the links on the right. But you will get more than that for I often post links to articles probably will not be writing about so it is a great way to keep up with what is happening.

The Twitter widget in the sidebar is fully interactive. This widget updates my tweets in real time and allows you to respond to or retweet my tweets right from the blog. It also allows you to tweet me right from America’s Watchtower.

Here is Imagine Dragons performing “Whatever it Takes” live, probably from earlier this year or sometime last year.

At first I thought it a contemporary christianeez group then found its a contemporary ‘evolve’ grp. – out of Vegas, NV. Interesting.
    Some info about them:
“In each sprawling and hook-laced song on Smoke + Mirrors—including the brooding but anthemic lead single “Bet My Life” and the soulful, tribal-drumbeat-powered title track—Imagine Dragons reveal the pain and exhilaration that comes with soul-searching and transcendence. “One of the goals in making this album was to capture the extremes of the past couple years,” says Reynolds. “There were times on the road where I was on the highest high, like after playing in Brazil in front of 80,000 people, and there were other times when I was really feeling how difficult and lonely it was to be away from my family for so long.” To lay that emotion bare, Imagine Dragons stripped away some studio flourishes and embraced a sense of brilliant imperfection in producing Smoke + Mirrors. “A lot of the vocals on the album were ones that I recorded into my laptop or a cheap USB mike in my hotel room, because those were the takes that really had the spirit of the moment when the song was written,” Reynolds points out. At the same time, Imagine Dragons expanded their sound by using instruments collected in their travels, adding even more texture and depth to the band’s already-intricate rhythms and melodies.
“At times it’s really scary to think about so many people hearing what I’m talking about in the lyrics on this album, but I know that for better for worse it’s completely authentic and genuine and true to who we are as a band,” says Reynolds. “And that’s the most important thing you can ever do as an artist, and also the most magical: forget about everyone and everything else for the moment, and just create whatever’s most meaningful to you.” Designed to be Sonically adventurous.

Thanks for sharing that song, I hadn’t heard it before and I loved it! Great and inspirational lyrics about asking God for strength and not being afraid.
“I can do anything through Christ, who strengthens me.” (Philippians 4:13)

Yes, good verse! I’d not heard this song before either, came across it looking for the song “Be Still My Soul” and thought it good to share.

I find the lyrics to this song interesting as well, and the lyrics to a couple of other songs I have heard from Imagine Dragons. I was wondering if there was some Christian influence to them as well but I never looked into the band. Thanks for sharing that information!

Came across this topic: Kent State Vietnam War Protest and National Guards shooting students. May 1st is an Occult Ritual Day
“48 Years Ago Today, US Troops Massacred Students in Ohio, Covered It Up and Got Away With It”
    https://www.activistpost.com/2018/05/48-years-ago-today-us-troops-massacred-students-in-ohio-covered-it-up-and-got-away-with-it.html
The vid is quite tell. There’s other vids on utube that are ‘PC’ & Propaganda Approved, but something more went on here and it was ‘shadow govt, deep state’ involvement – esp. knowing that the Vietnam war was ‘not to protect the America people’ but for the usual ungodly rulers of the dark side.

Tagging this one on. KENT STATE SHOOTINGS PROVOKED BY FBI
      https://shadowproof.com/2010/05/06/kent-state-shootings-provoked-by-fbi/
“Lew Rockwell’s blog link, “Kent State Killings Triggered by FBI Agent Provocateur.” is gone.
It seems many ‘articles’ are either being ‘deleted’ (censored) or re-written by the very ones guilty of causing the event/crime. The evil AI ‘see and hear all’ is hard at work. Needed to have a God conscience instead of ‘little god sin nature’.
So much Truth has been covered up. The occult (deep state) have their prescribed dates for ‘blood sacrifices’ and this might’ve accounted as one in their perverted ways.

It all comes back to Pilate, doesn’t it?! “Quid est veritas?” They don’t want us to know the truth.
I remember Bill Cooper talking about Waco and how it was really a Spring sacrifice of blood by the illuminati.

I didn’t know that about Waco, it all ‘sounds’ so bizarre the average person would think it ‘crazy’ to even consider that ‘the so-called elite’ would do such a thing, but people don’t take the devil seriously, nor the fact that we have a ‘sin nature’ ~ not everyone looks out for the best of everyone else!
More of these ‘unthinkable things’ go on and when the truth comes out, people won’t receive it as true … or are so ‘gone’ they’ll see nothing wrong with it.

Connects ~ example of what’s being ‘pushed’ to be “acceptable” in society.

People would think you were crazy if you told them something like that but when you are ruled by the evil one anything is possible.

Good point. The mimic, the evil one empowers those that are his to rule and reign instead of the godly/righteous (having the Spirit of God working and empowering them).
Proverbs 29:2 When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice: but when the wicked beareth rule, the people mourn.
Raging until he and his are in the Lake of Fire. Until then the Lord teaches us to battle in the spiritual realm, thru prayer, supplication, thanks giving for God’s Faithfulness, and providing us understanding: Ephesians 6:12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

Sick, isn’t it! A kid zone?! They want to indoctrinate them young.

I guess that Ephesians 6:12 quote is even more accurate today!
