Donald Trump pulls the United States out of the Iran nuclear deal

May 8, 2018

As was expected Donald Trump fulfilled a campaign promise when he announced today he would be pulling the United States out of the Iran nuclear deal. Here is some of what he had to say.

“In 2015, the previous administration joined with other nations in a deal regarding Iran’s nuclear program,” said Trump. “In theory, the so-called Iran deal was supposed to protect the United States and our allies from the lunacy of an Iranian nuclear bomb.

“In fact,” said Trump, “the deal allowed Iran to continue enriching uranium and over time reach the brink of nuclear breakout. The deal lifted crippling economic sanctions on Iran in exchange for very weak limits on the regime’s nuclear activity and no limits at all on its other malign behavior, including its sinister activities in Syria, Yemen and other places all around the world.

“In other words,” he said, “at the point when the United States had maximum leverage, this disastrous deal gave this regime–and it’s a regime of great terror–many billions of dollars, some of it in actual cash–a great embarrassment to me as a citizen and to all citizens of the United States.”

Of course Barack Obama has criticized this decision for obvious reasons, as has John Kerry (who might have a vested family interest in keeping the deal in place), the mainstream media, and the other nations in the deal.

Benjamin Netanyahu, who has accused Iran of cheating on the deal, praised the move. It appears to me Donald Trump is using a tactic similar to the one he used on North Korea. The President came out with strong words against North Korea, imposed stricter sanctions, and made sure countries like China adhered to the sanctions and we have seen progress with North Korea. It looks like this is a move to get Iran back to the table to negotiate an agreement Donald Trump believes would be more beneficial to the United States. By pulling out of the deal the United States will be able to put the sanctions back on Iran and enforce them, it worked with North Korea but it seems like this will be a tougher goal to accomplish but we will see.

On a side note, we have seen several lawsuits levied against Donald Trump for undoing Barack Obama’s Executive Orders by using Executive Orders and we have seen sympathetic judges rule against the President. How long will it be before somebody tries to sue Donald Trump over this?

Led by the self hating Jew Chuck( known as Chuckie Cheese in some circles) Schumer, the left wasted no time in becoming unhinged and spewing its patented anti-Trump, anti-American jabberwocky. Mr Trump’s intentions are for good unlike Obamiran’s whose intent was to destabilize the western world. Let’s see where and how this plays out before second guessing him.

The left’s fear mongering lost all credibility with me after they were screaming about WWIII a few months ago. They are playing on emotions and it is catching up with them because they are going too far.

Good. It was all a ‘ruse’ anyway and digital funds going into the ‘enemy’s acct’ who were suppose to be representing American’s interest.
The ‘Lake of Fire’ await the lot of shiftless good-for-nothings meanwhile the round-up continues to convict, arrest & lock them away ~ is my prayer,

You are right as to who knows where this will lead. There are too many differences between NK and Iran to see how this is going to work. I do not think sanctions will work this time if France, UK and Germany are not in agreement.

I don’t see a reason for the Iranians to want to negotiate with the US.

I tend to agree with you on this. If the other countries do not follow our lead it will be tough to renegotiate anything.

Putin must be doing a happy dance, since US sanctions will stall sales of Boeing jets to Iran. Now he can sell his commercial planes to Iran.

Obamaran gives them $150 billion, they buy corporate America’s planes and arms, food, pharmaceuticals and a portion of the billions end up in corporate deep pockets. Ho hum, business as usual… nothing new under the sun.

I am surprised the left hasn’t said this is proof of Russian collusion…
