The three former United States prisoners being held in North Korea are on their way home

  Last week we learned that North Korean dictator Kim Jong Un released three American citizens from a labor camp and sent them to a hospital in the area for treatment before returning home to the United States.

  Today we are learning that Mike Pompeo made his second trip to North Korea and the three former prisoners are on a flight with him back to the United States. Here is more:

President Donald Trump said Wednesday that three American prisoners released from North Korea were headed home, a sign of potential good will ahead of Trump’s planned meeting with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un.

“I appreciate Kim Jong Un allowing this to happen,” Trump said later Wednesday during a Cabinet meeting. He also said a location and a date for the summit with the North Korean leader would be announced within days.

  Fantastic news! When I heard the three prisoners were headed to a hospital for treatment I was concerned because we all remember how Otto Warmbier returned home so I am glad to hear these three men appear to be in good condition.

  Kim Jong Un continues to meet the demands made by Donald Trump as a condition for their meeting sometime later this month or next month–conditions nobody, including myself, thought he would ever agree to–and Donald Trump deserves credit for what is happening right now in North Korea. I hope it continues and all signs right now to point in that direction.
