Brett Kavanaugh: ‘I will not be intimidated into withdrawing’
With his chances of confirmation seemingly falling apart right in front of our eyes Brett Kavanaugh remains adamant that he is innocent of the charges being levied against him, going to far today as to state he “will not be intimidated into withdrawing.”

“They debase our public discourse. But they are also a threat to any man or woman who wishes to serve our country. Such grotesque and obvious character assassination—if allowed to succeed—will dissuade competent and good people of all political persuasions from service,” Kavanaugh said in the letter toGrassley and Feinstein.
“I will not be intimidated into withdrawing from this process. The coordinated effort to destroy my good name will not drive me out. The vile threats of violence against my family will not drive me out. The last-minute character assassination will not succeed,” Kavanaugh continued.
It is also being reported that he and his wife will be appearing on television tonight to speak about these accusations. These words and what he has been saying all along do not sound like the words of a man who is all too concerned with the accusations. He sounds like he is innocent but then again sometimes a man doth protest too much. I do not think that is the case here however, I think this is a man who is unwilling to let these accusations take him down without a fight.
But I am more and more getting the feeling the fight is already lost and Brett Kavanaugh just either does not realize it or is unwilling to admit it to himself. I find it hard at this point to see a path to his confirmation because any Democrat from a red state or a state Donald Trump won in 2016 who was thinking about voting in favor of Brett Kavanaugh before all of this happened is unlikely to vote in the affirmative at this point, and I would be willing to bet a few Republicans are going to be intimidated and will not vote for him either.
If Brett Kavanaugh is not confirmed than no Donald Trump nominee short of Merrick Garland will be confirmed either–the blueprint has been laid upon the table and this is just the beginning of what we can expect, especially after the rout that is coming in a couple of months if the Republicans blow this and it appears as if they have.

Youth…a time of exploration…Guess I am old fashioned. What happened to the “making out” where the girl has/had to define just how far in the back seat things went. A few who couldn’t figure it out ended up pregnant. Am I the only one who went to a school where this was all part of growing up or is my memory hazy…and I am talking the late 50’s and early ’60s
I cannot imagine any boy/man wanted to date anymore.

They really are twisted and now Cruz has been chased out of a restaurant because he supports Kavanaugh. These people are not going to be happy until somebody does end up dead.

I considered Cruz a ‘water boy’ for the Cabal, maybe he’s going to ‘the winning side’ and is feeling the wrath of the zanies because of that decision.
I noticed how uncomfortable the leaders of the UN were today, listening to POTUS Trump. haha, cutting off their ‘Gravy Train’. Den of snakes.

I don’t think Cruz is really changing, I just think the left is going after anybody with an ‘R’ after their name and they know he will be voting for Kavanaugh.

My take on this is Feinstein has had this letter since June and her people must have been looking in to it hard. They cannot find one single witness to corroborate? I call bullshit. But the real problem is now anyone who runs or gets nominated for anything is going to immediately get smeared by the other side. The only people going to stay in the race are more buffoons like Clinton and Trump.

I agree with everything you wrote. Feinstein had this for months and sat on it for political reasons. This is what we can expect with every single nominee now and Kavanaugh alluded to it as well. The best people are going to say screw it and not accept any nomination and we will be stuck with the elitists.
