Saturday, September 29th open thread: ‘I Held Her in My Arms’
Today we have a wedding to attend which is about two hours away and we will be staying overnight and coming home in the morning so the open thread comes a day early this week. My recovery continues nicely and I have next week off before returning to work with a 20 pound weight restriction on lifting. As I was taking my daily walk the other day I heard a song and thought to myself this was sort of apropos to the goings on in Washington this week.

Thanks, I feel great. I don’t have to go back to the cardiologist until next year. One more week to enjoy a little free time and then it is back to reality. It will feel good to get back into my regular routine though.
