Chief Justice John Roberts refers ethics complaint against Brett Kavanaugh to DC court
If you thought the Brett Kavanaugh saga was over, the continuing protests excepted, you were mistaken because according to this story Chief Justice John Roberts has referred ethics complaints made against the new Supreme Court Justice to a lower court for investigation. Here is more:
Chief Justice John Roberts is referring complaints about statements made by new Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh to federal judges outside the Beltway.
In a letter posted Wednesday on the D.C. Circuit Court of Appeals website, Roberts announced that he has asked judges who handle ethics complaints for the 10th Circuit Court of Appeals to deal with the claims.
Roberts said in his letter that he was initially notified of complaints against Kavanaugh on Sept. 20. The complaints deal with statements Kavanaugh made during his confirmation hearings and were initially filed with the D.C. Circuit, where Kavanaugh served for 12 years before joining the high court.
These complaints come from before Brett Kavanaugh’s spirited defense from allegations made by Christine Blasey Ford so to be honest I have no idea what this is all about, but I do know that with this being headed to the DC Circuit this is probably not going to go away any time soon and whether or not there is anything to these complaints the liberal sky-screamers are going to have a field day with this. I would expect this to be used as fodder for calls of Brett Kavanaugh’s recusal from all cases until the investigation is over, if not his outright resignation.
malo periculosam libertatem quam quietum servitium
Good freaking grief. Damned Progressives are hoping that should they take the house and the senate this would become a tool in their shed to use against Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh.
While I have no idea what the law is, I believe that Kavanaugh should be able to sue every damned last one of these Marxists. Sue them all!

I would think he could go after them for defamation or libel.

Or Steve, you could’ve stated that you have, “no idear of what this is all about” inline with my 7th grade Southern English teacher! That seems more appropriate for “the hustle.” I should’ve figured Roberts was one of the ‘lowly ones” since globalist Bush Jr placed him in. Den of snakes and thieves ~ Doing the ‘hustle’ all the live long day and night! These “wicked minded” must be taken out of action – sooner than later.

Yep, he has been a disappointment ever since he changed his vote on the Obamacare mandate at the last minute. Somebody got to him…

Yep. no proof needed. In today’s America it is now up to John Roberts to prove he is innocent.

I thought complaints against SCOTUS members was the sole reserve of the Congress.
