Robert Mueller ready to release findings of Russia probe, will wait until after the midterms
It has been quite awhile since Robert Mueller’s Russian probe has been in the news which has led me to believe it is winding down and there has not been much found in recent weeks. If there was anything newsworthy it would have been leaked to the press as we have seen in the past. And a little side note now that I mentioned leaks, a high level Treasury Department official has been arrested for leaking documents related to the probe to Buzzfeed.
But back now to the subject of this post: It is being reported here that Robert Mueller is ready to release the key findings of his Russia investigation but will hold of until after the midterm election, here is more:
Special Counsel Robert Mueller is expected to issue findings on core aspects of his Russia probe soon after the November midterm elections as he faces intensifying pressure to produce more indictments or shut down his investigation, according to two U.S. officials.
Specifically, Mueller is close to rendering judgment on two of the most explosive aspects of his inquiry: whether there were clear incidents of collusion between Russia and Donald Trump’s 2016 campaign, and whether the president took any actions that constitute obstruction of justice, according to one of the officials, who asked not to be identified speaking about the investigation.
I find that to be interesting and maybe I am reading too much into this but we are left to speculate what this means and I have to think it means there is nothing there that would provide fodder to the Democrats before the election so the political calculation was made to hold back the report so that the Democratic voters will still have a glimmer of hope Donald Trump will be impeached when they head to the polls. If they find out there is no there there they may become disheartened and stay home.
Of course I could be way off here but that is what I am thinking.

Here in the NY/NJ/CT tri-state area we have been inundated with democrats running political ads claiming the republican target in every ad wants to take away women’s right to choose, outlaw abortions and cut taxes for the rich. And some like the indicted Menendez are running against Trump. By leaving the Russian probe results in limbo until the 11th hour it may well become a major issue useful in putting doubt in the minds of voters.

That is exactly why they are doing it in my opinion, this was the doubt is still there in the eyes of the Democratic voters.

Sure, he is waiting until after the mid-terms.. If the Dems win the House the circus will continue unabated until 2020 IMO. The hearings will be a non stop ordeal for Trump and anyone he knows or knew. Mueller will be waiting in the wings.

While all these views are valid I like yours best best. This is the usual co-ordinated democrat multi-pronged attack with all gov’t and media players doing their part to bring down the opposition.

Good point, I didn’t think of it that way but you are right. They do not want this to end anytime soon because they want to use this as a multi-election issue.

A)the report has something made-up and not really provable, and gets leaked just close enough to the midterms that it’s nearly impossible to defend against.
or…..
B)mueller has nothing, and knows he can’t make stuff up. either he doesn’t have any imagination, or he knows he’ll be dragged over the coals if he does. so he’ll wait until after the midterms…WAY after the midterms….and he’ll release something that’s more redacted than the Roswell Report. every word but “and” and “the” will be classified. democrats will claim they “know” what’s in and how horrible it is. and use it endlessly to campaign on.

‘Hell forbid’ any Truth get out before the up coming vote for the parasites ~ regardless the snake den (son of Cain MeCain’s prime example, just to mention one).
M’s hoping his ‘clan’ will cause “something terrific” to prevent him being scathed … and that he still has a place in one of the underground facilities.
Be interesting to put the ‘disinfo’ out for them to think “now is the time”, into the facilities they go prepared “for such a time is this” … just to discover the facilities have been upgraded/remodeled into underground GITMOs waiting “just for them” – “maximum security” to keep them safe, until they are no more. Showing them just how “special’ they really are!
