Adam Schiff threatens to subpoena Robert Mueller

  With the Mueller report being released and with no new indictments being recommended by the special prosecutor it was only a matter of time before the Democrats began to turn on the man they have been calling a true Patriot for two years. ‘Tis a fickle bunch these Democrats, it was just a question of how long it would take and apparently it did not take long at all because Adam Schiff is now threatening to subpoena Robert Mueller to get answers.

Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA), the Chairman of the House Intelligence Committee, said Friday that his panel will subpoena special counsel Robert Mueller if more details regarding his report on possible collusion between the 2016 Trump campaign and Russia is required.

“If necessary, we will call Bob Mueller or others before our committee,” Schiff told CNN host Wolf Blitzer, adding that the House Judiciary Committee could request Attorney General Bill Barr testify on the report’s findings, as well.

At the end of the day, the (Justice) department is under a statutory obligation to provide our committee with any information regarding significant intelligence activities, including counterintelligence. And it’s hard to imagine anything more significant than what Bob Mueller has been investigating. This began as a counterintelligence investigation by the FBI. It began as the same in our committee, and we have a right to be informed, and we will demand to be informed about it.

  In this case “more details” means tell us why you did not find anything because we no longer think you are a Patriot. Adam Schiff is the man who for the whole of the investigation has been claiming he had proof there was collusion with Russia, if only you knew what he knew but when the report came out we would all know beyond a shadow of a doubt that Donald Trump is a criminal. Just trust him and we will see eventually…

  Well, the Democratic voters did believe him and they hung all their hopes and dreams of impeachment upon him and people like Maxine Waters but now we know Adam Schiff was just blowing smoke and never knew any more than anybody else.

  Now he is embarrassed and left red-faced because he was placing a bet on the outcome of the investigation and he lost so now he is trying to make it all back in a hurry by doubling down.
