Mark Meadows claims there could be criminal referrals coming for people tied to Fusion GPS

April 30, 2019

Now that the Mueller investigation is over we are beginning to see criminal referrals being handed down. However these referrals are not exactly what the Democrats had hoped for when they began the investigation.

First we learned that Devin Nunes was sending criminal referrals to the Department of Justice over FISA abuses and now, according to this story, Mark Meadows is preparing criminal referrals of two or three individuals with ties to Fusion GPS for lying to the Congress. Here is more:

Rep. Mark Meadows, R-N.C., said on Tuesday that he knows of “two or three individuals” tied to Fusion GPS who could be the subject of criminal referrals for lying to Congress.

Washington Post reporter Robert Costa asked Meadows if Republicans have any criminal referrals in mind after the release of special counsel Robert Mueller’s report on the 22-month Russia investigation.

“I can tell you that there are two or three individuals that we believe could have potentially given false testimony to Congress,” Meadows said. “And we have been looking at that, reviewing not only the Mueller report, but comparing those to transcribed interviews that might have happened in Congress.”

He suggested that these referrals could relate to the infamous Trump dossier and opposition research firm Fusion GPS, which commissioned the dossier’s author Christopher Steele. “I do have great concerns on the role, not just Fusion GPS, but those associated with it played early on and how was that used or not used as it relates to this investigation,” he said.

It looks as though after two years of investigating the hunters might have become ensnared in their own trap and the tables are turning. We still do not know who Mark Meadows was referring to but this story gets more interesting every single day.

I agree…. best part is that they are going to have to spend money for lawyers….a small win but I am enjoying it.

True. Look what the left did to Flynn, they bankrupted him to the point where he had to take a plea bargain because he could no longer afford to defend himself. Now it is time to show some of them what that feels like.
