Governor Newsom’s winery will remain open despite new COVID-19 lock down
When the house arrest orders were in full effect we saw a few politicians have their Chris Christie the-beaches-are-shut-for-thee-but-not-for-me moments: New Mexico Governor Grisham decided jewelry was essential for her and devised a scheme to purchase some during her State’s shutdown, Governor Whitmer’s husband had a “do you know who I am” moment when wanted to get his boat in the water over Memorial Day weekend during a lock down, and in California Gavin Newsom was seen violating his own social conditioning rules because he needed to shake hands and kiss babies.
And speaking of Gavin Newsom, he liked the totalitarian measures and the thought of a government-dependent citizenry so much that he is in the process of doing it again. The Governor has ordered a new lock down which includes restaurants, wineries, and movie theaters.
You may be thinking to yourself, doesn’t Gavin Newsom own a winery? The answer to that question is yes, but have no fear about Gavin Newsom losing all of that holiday weekend revenue because he made an exemption which will allow his winery to remain open. Here is more:
Wineries, a popular destination on a summer holiday weekend, were forced to close in the affected counties. Californians who’d planned on visiting places like Temecula or Santa Barbara or the Santa Ynez Valley or Fairfield or the Santa Clara Valley to celebrate Independence Day with some local wines face a tough choice: either stay home or find an open winery somewhere like San Diego County or Napa County.
Napa County, where Gov. Gavin Newsom’s business, PlumpJack Wines, operates four wineries – wineries with tasting rooms that are open all weekend long and booked solid.
Well, isn’t that convenient.
Convenient indeed! Apparently the virus cannot cross county lines, how fortunate for Gavin Newsom…

One key to Newsom’s character comes from his campaign in favor of Gay Marriage. In the process of instituting Gay Marriage, Newsom INTENTIONALLY denigrated Christians, making life long blood enemies of every Christian and anyone who believes in Freedom of Religion. This also deepened the split between Believers of any sort and relatively secular people.
Debate Gay Marriage as you will, my point is that the hatred Newsom created was intentional.
Know your enemy. Those who intentionally create hatred are the enemies of everyone from hard core Believers to Secular Humanists, anyone who believes in getting along with your neighbors.
I’d say Newsom qualifies as evil. Hypocrisy is the least of his sins.

While I’m glad to read your informative posts, admittedly, the information itself is beyond disturbing. The blatant elitistm above-the-law disregard for citizens is beyond belief. The protestors have it all wrong — instead of defunding the police and burning down cities, they should be destroying the homes and businesses of politicians like Newsom, which of course, would mean the entire Democratic party…and quite a few Republicans. Hell, why not get rid of them all….except I do NOT want Marxism. And so, we continue to chase our tails… 😦 Oh, God Bless America because we need all the rational help we can get right now.

If that happened they all of a sudden would take notice and reverse course! As long as these rioters are not messing with the politicians’ property they have no problem letting it happen, they feel it will help them defeat Trump and that is all they care about.

You are dead on. 4 years of taxpayer money wasted on Dem salaries who have only worked to oust Trump rather than work for “the people” who are paying those salaries. Trump has issues, I agree, but I’ve never known anyone to be perfect and he is our President and has done a lot of good whether they want to admit it or not. Just think of how much stronger America would be right now if the Dems actually supported his efforts and united our country rather than ripped it apart. The base question for me today is: are there enough freedom loving Americans to conquer the radicals in November? So much I wish we could sweep clean the democracy destroying Dems but I shudder to think the outcome of mail-in ballots…
