Arizona voters file lawsuit after ballots disqualified for using ‘Sharpies’ that poll workers handed out

November 5, 2020

A group called the Public Interest Legal Foundation has filed a lawsuit on behalf of voters who claimed their ballots were not counted because they used Sharpies which were given to them by poll workers. Here is more:

Arizona voters who claim their ballots were canceled because they were asked to use Sharpie markers to fill them out have filed a lawsuit demanding their ballots be restored.

A lawsuit filed on Wednesday by the Public Interest Legal Foundation (PILF) is requesting restoration of ballots for voters who were told to fill out their ballots using Sharpie markers but subsequently had those ballots canceled.

Specifically, the lawsuit details the case of Maricopa County, Arizon, resident Laurie Aguilera, who was given a Sharpie market to fill out her ballot on election day. State officials have previously warned against felt tip writing utensils for filling out ballots.

I am not sure why felt tip pens are not acceptable in the first place–here in New Hampshire we have always used Sharpies until this year where due to COVID-19 concerns every voter was given their own pen–but if that is the law then why are poll workers handing them out in the first place? Here is more still:

The lawsuit states that Aguilera was alarmed when the ink of the Sharpie started to bleed onto the other side of her ballot but, despite that, was told to feed her ballot through the counting machine. The ballot, the lawsuit states, was not accepted and eventually canceled by the poll worker.

“These voters were denied the right to vote. Arizona election officials allegedly were part of the problem, and denial of the right to vote should not occur because of failures in the process of casting a ballot,” PILF President J. Christian Adams said in a statement.

It is hard to argue with that statement; these people were allegedly given the Sharpies they used to vote and–while part of the problem lies in their not knowing or not questioning the rules–while we do not know if something nefarious was going on here there are questions regarding who is allowed to be a poll worker. How did the poll workers not understand the rules? How was it that after the first couple of ballots were disqualified there was no communication between workers to stop the error from continuing?

We are currently counting the 600,000 plus absentee ballots dropped on election day at polling sites. This is common practice in Arizona if you do it yourself. Ballot harvesting is illegal. Arizona has been an on request absentee ballot state for over 10 years. We do this pretty well unlike the “mail out” ballot fiasco imposed in many states as a symptom of Wuhan Madness. Absentee ballots dropped at polling sites on election day are the last to be counted. They are trending strongly for Trump according to credible sources here. In Maricopa County you have a toxic mix of leftists in both elective office and the bureaucracy. Dirty tricks in Red precincts are not above the level of these nefarious clowns. Manual recounts will be the answer. Our courts here, to include our Supreme Court are pretty clear thinking. Clint Bolick is a good example. He is a regular in libertarian journals. Things will work out. Bureaucrats out here know that we all pack. They are less bold than in blue utopias. I am very confident Trump will win Arizona. Fox News will be eating some Chihuahuan Raven on this issue. On the grill, red sauce.

I hope you are correct. Our county is and always has been rife with fraud. We knew this would happen with mail in ballots too. While every vote must be counted, I clarify that it must be every “legal” vote that must be counted…although I highly doubt that will be the case…

Dems like to forget that one little word don’t they? And in doing so they also claim the right doesn’t want all the votes counted, forgetting that qualifier as well.

It sounds like it is getting tighter there for Trump this morning as well. He needs Arizona if his slim chance is to remain alive.

I’m happy to see poll workers coming forward to talk about the “irregularities”

Poll workers and postal workers are coming forward with claims of fraud. Post marks fudging in Wisconsin has been documented by Project Veritas. I take it on face value that there will be voter fraud in progressive precincts. I learned how is was done in an Electoral Policy and Practice seminar at SF State in 1977. Manual fraud is slower. Fraud at 95% of the speed of light is still fraud. Technology only makes the old games faster and more massive. Here is a good read for you on the proud tradition of democrat party voter fraud by none other than LBJ.

I have a very special place in my heart for LBJ when I look at my mounted medals. I hope he has a very special place in hell. Semper Fidelis

We are hearing more and more reports of some shady goings on. There are going to be lawsuits and this is going to drag on for awhile, whether or not anything changes because of it is anybody’s guess.

Recounts in Wisconsin, Georgia and elsewhere will sort it out but don’t expect results until late December. As leftists like to say “Democracy dies in darkness.” Shine the bright light of public scrutiny on these operations.

More background information on the trash software and hardware used by these blue utopias. We have known this for a long time.

Thanks for that article. So they update the hardware but the software, which is what is vulnerable to the hacks, they leave the same!? They had to have known simply changing the machines and using the same software was of no use, but it was done for appearances.
