Oregon Governor encourages people to report neighbors who have too many people over for Thanksgiving
Some Governors are enjoying their newly found COVID-19 emergency powers more than other Governors are. One Governor who has really let her power go to her head is Oregon Governor Kate Brown, who has decided that the plebeians are not allowed to have more than six people in their houses for Thanksgiving.
She is so upset that some people are planning on violating her decree that she is asking people to report their neighbors to the police if they have too many people in their homes. Here is more:
Days before Thanksgiving, Oregon Gov. Kate Brown said she believes residents who know their neighbors are violating the most recent round of COVID-19 protocols, which includes capping the number of people allowed in your home at six, should call the police.
“This is no different than what happens if there’s a party down the street and it’s keeping everyone awake,” Brown said in an interview Friday. “What do neighbors do [in that case]? They call law enforcement because it’s too noisy. This is just like that. It’s like a violation of a noise ordinance.”
Violations of this order could result in 30 days in jail and a $1,250 fine. 30 days in jail for having guests over on Thanksgiving! It is shocking what we are allowing to happen in our country and to think that there might be some people out there who will actually turn in their neighbors simply because they feel the neighbors are getting away with something they themselves did not have the courage to stand up and fight for is very troubling.
Despite what the despot in charge of Oregon says, this is nothing like reporting people for violating a noise ordinance where others are being disturbed, this is reporting people for what they are doing in the privacy of their own homes, which is nobody else’s business. This is actually more like Germany in the 1930s…

So please quote a statute that will be invoked to cause one to be jailed and fined. There is none. There are no such things as “orders” from politicians unless you happen to be wearing a uniform. And in order to wear a uniform you must stand before our National Colors and swear to uphold the Constitution against all enemies both foreign and domestic. That being said, those who assume dictatorial powers and start issuing orders and lawless decrees need to read some of our history and learn the fate of those who failed to lead by example and decided to lead by dictate.

I have to believe if people challenge these fines they will win in court, they are relying on intimidating people and hoping they are sheep.

Hey people, I’ve been to Cuba and there snitching on one’s family, friends, neighbors and strangers has worked out fine these past 60 years. Rioting, pillaging, burning and murdering is what we now expect in the New Amerika but standing room only at Thanksgiving dinner….we have to draw the line somewhere damn it!

I lived in an HOA….. not a whole lot of difference but on a larger scale.. Reporting is a joy to them. Those who are inclined to turn in neighbors are out there and relish the opportunity.

And sadly I think there are a lot of them, hopefully there aren’t as many as I think there are but I would be willing to bet some people will see it as an opportunity for revenge against Trump supporters.

I could actually cry this morning, reading this and feeling the demise of America…particularly on top of so many deep state courts ruling against the fraudulent elections. Truly, I feel trapped against my will in a country I’m beginning to despise.

I know how you feel, it wears on you and sometimes you just want to walk away and give up. I fell that way a lot nowadays and this is what they are counting on.

You may win in court against state sponsored terrorists passing as prosecutors but you will be left financially ruined. The lack of accountability in public prosecution gives the nefarious a strong defense against consequences for abusing power. After all, who really pays attention when judges and district attorneys are on the ballot? And what are your odds of prevailing in a very expensive civil rights lawsuit? The bureaucracy is insulated and protected by a wall of indifference and the compliance of the many.

I think they’ll find that these ‘leaders’ didn’t get ‘voted in’ rather ‘bought their way in (Globalist paid using Tax Payers $$$$). We ‘know for a fact’ that happened in NV. The Maf Boss was down but when people woke in the morning he was ‘way up’ – Dominion switched the votes.

Correct. Hillary Clinton was right on one account, sort of. She was right about there being vast conspiracies in American politics. She just got her directions wrong. The Vast Left Wing Conspiracy better known as the Progressive New Left is the real danger to our once great and stable Republic. Folks are just now learning of that danger as they watch the democratic apparatus of our Republic fall under the weight of massive voter fraud and media manipulation.
