DHS to ease passport controls to Saudi nationals but will not offer the same benefit to United States veterans
The Department of Homeland Security has decided to designate some Saudi Arabian travelers as low risk passengers which means after the DHS has determined that they feel certain Saudi Arabians are low risk they will not have to go through the rigorous airport security checks that most of us are forced to go through.
That is all very well and good, after all if a person is a frequent flyer and the government has done an assessment and finds no threat why should they have to go through the airport security checks every single time they fly? That is until you remember how thorough the federal government actually is–after all they did ignore all the warning signs in the case of the Fort Hood terrorist, Nidal Hasan, and allowed him to serve in the United States military alongside the very people he despised. But we are supposed to trust them on this because we are supposed to believe they are competent.
But let us put that aside for the purpose of this post and pretend the government knows what it is doing. I know it is tough, but bear with me.
Why is it that the Department of Homeland Security is in the process of easing security checks on Saudi Arabians at the same time the TSA is abusing United States veterans at these very same checkpoints?
If you are an active duty marine, according to this story, who lost both legs fighting in the war on terror you are forced to remove your prosthetic limbs and are embarrassed in front of everyone at the airport because you do not receive the same preferential treatment as Saudi nationals.
But of course United States servicemen returning from war have been deemed potential domestic terrorists who, according to Dainne Feinstein, cannot be trusted with weapons because they might have mental problems so this really isn’t all that surprising, is it?
This just shows us who the Obama regime feels the real threat to national security really is…..

I stopped believing our government was competent about the same time I stopped believing in Santa Claus. Our vets deserve at lot more respect than any Saudi, I don’t care how often they fly here.

Always they find one more group to try and divide and conquer. But we need a civiilian force just as powerful as I recall, Who needs this group of misfits who otherwise are clingers for the most part.

Yeah, Obama has his own army and so this relegates the military as expendable. Hmmm, reminds me of something that happened back in the 1930’s.

I would say they are looking in the wrong place for threats, but that isn’t completely true. In the mind of a liberal, our veterans are a threat. Thus, we see them attacked at every turn.

I am a 100 % service connected veteran with steel implants in both arms and legs that were used to put me back together and TSA always makes me go thru extra screening and several times made me go to back room and strip down to underwear while they ran metal detectors over my obvious scars to proof I had implants while everyday the goverment takes more rights from citizens they now give Saudi nationals more rights and privileges even if you don’t consider that 15 of the 19 sept. 11 th terrorists were Saudi saudi’s have a decades old documented history of supporting terrorists including suni terrorists in Iraq that have killed American service members what has happened to this country it surly is’t the same nation so many have given so much to defend Shame on every member of congress and the president Just remember the next time you declare a war you might not get the public to go next time send the children of the wealthy and those of congress members since none of them choose to defend the country that gives them so much
