Barney Frank admits Barack Obama lied about Obamacare

Barney Frank

During an interview with Huffington Post former Massachusetts Representative Barney Frank had some interesting things to say about Barack Obama and Obamacare.

We all know that Barack Obama told what has been deemed the lie of the year when he told everybody who would listen that under Obamacare “if you like your plan you can keep your plan” but now even Barney Frank is claiming he was “appalled” by this lie.

Here is what he had to say:

“The rollout was so bad, and I was appalled–I don’t understand how the president could have sat there and not been checking on that on a weekly basis,” Frank said. “But frankly, he should never have said as much as he did, that if you like your current health care plan, you can keep it. That wasn’t true. And you shouldn’t lie to people. And they just lied to people.”

“He should have said, ‘Look, in some cases the health care plans that you’ve got are really inadequate, and in your own interests, we’re going to change them.’ But that’s not what he said,” Frank stated.

That is all very well and good of him to admit at this point but where was he when he had a voice that mattered during the debate? Why was he silent when it mattered the most? Well, we know the answer to that question, don’t we?

But for all his righteous indignation the following quote from Barney Frank is quite telling:

“My political motto, very simple,” Frank said. “I have always told the truth, and nothing but the truth. But I don’t volunteer the whole truth in every situation.”

So he always tells the truth, but not always the whole truth?! He can claim that he was “appalled” at the time but he still did not “volunteer the whole truth” now did he? And that is because the end justifies the means and he supported, and still supports, Obamacare so in this instance he decided to remain silent. If he knew the truth and he remained silent than he helped to perpetuate the lie, whether he sees it that way or not…

This bologna pony riding cleft palate gay caballero never lies unless his moving lips are broadcasting saliva all over himself and his listeners . This is the guy who didn’t know, so he claimed, that his live in homosexual lover/life partner was running a gay escort service out of their basement. And so it goes, democrats are honorable and never lie. You can’t go wrong when the media is nothing more than an appendage of your political party.

Steve, I am not too surprised at the lack of truth, but the BIG BROTHER line I like best is “the health care plans that you’ve got are really inadequate, and in your own interests, we’re going to change them”. “…in YOUR own interests, WE’RE going to change them”. You are too stupid to buy the right product, so smart Big Brother is going to fix that for you.
    What a world.

That stood out to me too. Barney’s just showing that he’s a more ‘refined liar’ – that ‘he’ has more finesse in the ‘art of lying’. Their unnerving voices are the first give away of their polluted minds. On they go with their lie program.

Interesting. It’s not the first time that the congressman has been a little (but not much) more frank (sorry) than the other Democrats in Congress. I remember when he was on video admitting that a single-payer takeover was the long-term goal, but that Obamacare was the incremental next step.

(I can’t click on the link from here, but if I remember correctly, it has been taken down from Youtube.)

I remember that as well! he was facing heat because Obamacare was not single-payer and he basically said to be patient because it would lead us there.
