Xenophobic Joe Biden bans travel from India

It is being reported that Joe Biden has banned travel from India in response to an alleged COVID-19 surge in that country, here is more:

U.S. President Joe Biden on Friday imposed new travel restrictions on India in light of the COVID-19 epidemic, barring most non-U.S. citizens from entering the United States.

The new restrictions, which take effect on Tuesday, May 4 at 12:01 am ET (0401 GMT), are on the advice of the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and were imposed because “the magnitude and scope of the COVID-19 pandemic” in India was “surging,” the White House said.

Biden on Friday signed a proclamation implementing the restrictions, which were first reported by Reuters.

I think you all know where I am going with this so I will keep it short and sweet. I thought it was Xenophobic and racist to ban travel from certain countries, even if you are doing it to protect your constituents? Isn’t that what the left had been saying for the last four years? I no longer can keep tabs on what is racist and what is not any more. America first Joe…

    No worries on not being able to keep tabs on what is racist anymore because all the new definitions are False. Stick with reality and you’ll be AOK.

    Sleepy Joe may be banning travel from India, but he forgot to close our southern border before he allowed illegals to infiltrate our communities with ccp/covid. Oh, but that’s right government knows what’s best for us, right? 😮 NOT.

      It’s quite simple and a good bet travelers from India can’t be counted on to register to vote D as opposed to our south of the border COVID infected brothers coming here to suckle on our local, state and federal teats along with voting for any politician with that D next to their name.

    I don’t even think they know what they are going to call racist next most of the time.
    Yeah, if he was so worried about COVID getting into the country it would seem to me the first thing he should do is close the border.
