ABC Grades the Democrat’s First 100 days as a Failure

April 16, 2007

You can read about it here.

The Democrats made much adeau about their first 100 hours in congress when they were going to pass an aggressive domestic agenda. Which they did. The problem is none of this legislation has gone anywhere. None of it has even made it to the presidents desk.

So now the first 100 days are up and it’s time for a grade, only one network even managed to mention it. ABC gave the Democrats an F. You have to give them credit for that, no other network decided to cover it.

What good does it do to pass legislation that looks good and caring if it just sits in limbo? The only good is that the Democrats think it makes them look good, like they care about us. If they truly cared wouldn’t they at least get this agenda pushed to the president’s desk for a vote?

It’s time to call out the new do nothing congress.

Seeing as you don’t have a contact feature on your blog I figured this was the best place to write my note. I’ve read a variety of your entries. I think you suffer from several common problems prevalent among bloggers–a lack of incite and shortsightedness that can only be attributed to being uninformed. I think it’s great that you write, share, and debate. But considering the extremity and bias of many of your posts I would urge that you continue to educate yourself about the issues that you have chosen to engage.

    Thanks!

I have a Republican, conservative, right wing blog, so yes I do display a bias. I make no denials about this, nor do I make any apologies.
The fact that you consider my positions to be held because of a lack of incite and shortsightedness that can only be attributed to being uninformed may say as much about you as it does about me.
Because I dis-agree with you I must be uninformed, this is something I have addressed in my Nanny State series of posts.

    nondeplume:
You address a perceived ‘lack of incite and shortsightedness’, perhaps you mean insight and you omitted mentioning your own bias.
You might also support your contention regarding ‘uninformed’. It is easy to criticize but more difficult to support a claim with evidence.
